CancerThis is a two-part study consisting of Part A (dose regimen finding) followed by Part B (dose expansion). Part A (dose regimen finding) will allow definition of the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) through dose escalation and possible dose interval modification. In Part B (dose expansion), potential therapeutic doses may be studied with SC-004 as monotherapy and SC-004 in combination with ABBV-181 in disease-specific cohorts.
Endometrial Cancer Recurrence in Patients Taking Metformin
Recurrent Endometrial CarcinomaGiven the early literature available and its biological plausibility as an inhibitor of the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) protein, it is hypothesized that women with endometrial cancer who take metformin for non-cancer related reasons have a lower cancer recurrence rate compared to women not taking metformin. The primary goal of this study is to determine whether metformin use is associated with a decrease in the rate of endometrial cancer recurrence. Secondary objectives are to assess whether women with endometrial cancer taking metformin have longer progression free survival and overall survival than those that do not take metformin.

Radiation therapy uses high energy x rays to kill tumor cells. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing or by stopping them from spreading. Giving radiation therapy with chemotherapy may kill more tumor cells.

Endometrial CancerRATIONALE: Estrogen replacement therapy may improve quality-of-life in postmenopausal women with endometrial cancer. It is not yet known whether estrogen replacement therapy will affect cancer recurrence. PURPOSE: Randomized double-blinded phase III trial to determine the effectiveness of estrogen replacement therapy in treating women who have stage I or stage II endometrial cancer.
Rucaparib and Nivolumab in Patients With Prostate or Endometrial Cancer
Prostate CancerEndometrial CancerThis is a phase 1/phase 2a study of the combination of immune checkpoint inhibitor (nivolumab) in combination with the PARP inhibitor (rucaparib) for patients with metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and metastatic/recurrent endometrial cancer. In the phase 1 portion, the safety of the combination dosing will be determined. If the combination dosing is determined to be safe and feasible, the study will move onto phase 2a. In the phase 2a portion, participants will be randomized to receive either: rucaparib alone, nivolumab alone, or combination therapy (rucaparib and nivolumab).
