This study aims to compare two different follow up regimens with different test intensity in endometrial cancer treated patients. If eligibility criteria are satisfied and the written informed consensus is obtained, patients are stratified inside the centre according to their risk level: Group 1 : patients at low risk of recurrence [stage IA G1 and stage IA G2] Group 2 : patients at high-risk of recurrence [≥ stage IA G3] (Ethics Committee amendment of 14th September 2010, use new 2010 FIGO classification for endometrial cancer!) In each group patients will be randomized in two regimens of follow up: Minimalist (Arm 1) Intensive (Arm 2) Features of each arm are listed in "Arms" item.

The Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) program includes preoperative counseling, fasting avoidance, non-opioid analgesia, fluid balance, normothermia and early mobilization. ERAS pathways were developed to reduce hospital length of stay, reduce costs and decrease perioperative opioid requirements, and be beneficial for patients. We propose the hypothesis that the ERAS pathway could reduce the length of stay (LOS) in hospital for patients undergoing major gynecolodic oncology surgery (MGOS). Patients were randomly allocated in two groups: An ERAS pathway group including preoperative counseling, early feeding/mobilization, and opioid-sparing multimodal analgesia; and a classic model group of post operative recovery as control.

RATIONALE: Radiation therapy can cause long-term adverse effects. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy may be effective in lessening gastrointestinal symptoms caused by radiation therapy given for pelvic cancer. It is not yet known whether high-pressure oxygen is effective in treating adverse effects caused by radiation therapy. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying hyperbaric oxygen therapy to see how well it works in treating long-term gastrointestinal adverse effects caused by radiation therapy in patients with pelvic cancer.

Medical context: Several molecular studies showed chromosomal alterations in patients with endometrial cancer, with gains in 1q, 19p, 19q, 8q, 10q and 10p and loss of 4q, 16q and 18q. Several genes of interest have been dentified (P53, PTEN, PIK3CA, ß-catenin, K-ras ...). It is thus conceivable that like that enable genomic tools used in breast cancer today (Oncotype DX, MammaPrint), correlation between the tumor profile and life project in the case of cancer the endometrium could be done. A study is already underway at the Reims University Hospital with funding from the League against cancer and AOL in 2010 CHU Reims. It should identify the specific alterations of nosologic continuum of pathology and characterize areas of interest on the genome. To date, 39 patients with endometrial cancer and 15 patients with endometrial hyperplasia (patients 'cases') were included in the study. For this study, 10 patients exhibiting neither cancer nor endometrial hyperplasia were also included. The Role of Indocyanine Green to Identify Sentinel Lymph Node in Uterine Cancer

Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecologic malignancy in developed countries and the second one in developing countries following cervical cancer. The primary treatment for endometrial cancer involves total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, with adjuvant radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy reserved for patients with advanced disease or who have risk factors for relapse. The tumor is confined to the uterus in 85% of endometrial cancers. Hence, it's controversial to perform systematic lymphadenectomy to all patients. The primary purpose of the present study is the to investigate the feasibility of sentinel lymph node determination in endometrial cancer patients operated via conventional laparoscopy. To determine sentinel lymph nodes cervical indocyanine green will be injected prior to the surgery. During the surgery using fluorescent imaging systems sentinel lymph nodes will be removed and examined by frozen section. Afterwards, systematic pelvic lymphadenectomy will be performed. In case of type II endometrial cancer, grade 3, metastatic sentinel lymph nodes or macroscopically enlarged paraaortic lymph nodes, paraaortic lymphadenectomy will also be performed. The secondary purpose of the study is to compare the conventional laparoscopy in sentinel lymph node mapping of endometrial cancer patients.

An important part of staging and deciding the method of treatment is knowing areas of how cancer is involved. Diagnostic imaging is often used to determine the location of the cancer using techniques like nuclear medicine, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), CT (computerized tomography), and ultrasound. Each technique looks for cancer in different ways and are often used together to make a better determination of the extent of disease. One of the techniques used in cancer imaging is PET/CT. This technique combines a nuclear medicine study (PET or positron emission tomography) with CT performing both scans at the same time. PET/CT most commonly uses a radioactive sugar (FDG or fluorodeoxyglucose) to detect the cancer. The problem with FDG is that it is excreted by the kidneys and collected in the bladder. Even though the bladder is emptied prior to the scan, the FDG activity present there may interfere with the detection of small areas of cancer involvement in lymph nodes or adjacent areas. It is because of this that PET/CT using FDG is infrequently used in gynecological cancers. This purpose of this study is to evaluate if 18F-fluciclovine can be used to help determine the extent of gynecological cancers. 18F-fluciclovine (also known as AXUMIN) is a radioactive tracer which has been approved by the FDAFood and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in patients with prostate cancer. 18F-fluciclovine has much less excretion through the kidneys which improves the PET/CT imaging of the pelvis.
