Expenditures on material supplies and medications constitute the greatest per capita costs for surgical missions. We hypothesized that supply acquisition at nonprofit organization cost would lead to significant cost-savings compared to supply acquisition at US academic institution costs from the provider perspective for hernia repairs and minor procedures during a surgical mission in the Dominican Republic.

The objective this study is to collect post-market data on the performance of the Zenapro™ Hybrid Hernia Repair Device when used to reinforce or bridge the abdominal wall for the repair of ventral hernias.

Describe and characterizes laparoscopic postherniotomy patients with persistent moderate/severe pain affecting every day activities - including detailed quantitative sensory assessment

The investigators want to identify limiting factors for short convalescence after laparoscopic groin hernia repair. Before the operation patients are given intensive structured information about one day´s convalescence. Patients fill out questionnaire before operation about several clinically relevant parameters. This is also done first 3 days after operation and after 1 month and 6 months. The patients are seen for clinical control at 1 and 6 months.

Prevalence rates of urodynamic stress incontinence (USI), bladder oversensitivity (BO) /detrusor overactivity (DO) or both and their related clinical and urodynamic findings in women with ≥ pelvic organ prolapse quantification stage II cystocele are important for clinical consultation.
