Evaluation of the Safety and Immunogenicity of Simultaneously Administration of EV71 Vaccine and...

Enterovirus InfectionsInfluenza

Subjects will be recruited and divided into 3 groups: Experimental Group (378 subjects): combined immunization of EV71 vaccine and influenza vaccine; Control Group A (378 subjects): EV71 vaccine only; Control Group B (378 subjects): influenza vaccine only; All blood samples will be collected before and one month after vaccinatioin. The immunogenicity and safety of both experimental and control groups will be compared and the data be analyzed.

A Clinical Trial for Inactivated Vaccine (Vero Cell) Against EV71 in Chinese Children and Infants...

HandFoot2 more

Hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) is a common viral illness in infants and children caused by viruses that belong to the enterovirus genus of the picornavirus family. Although most HFMD cases do not result in serious complications, outbreaks of HFMD caused by enterovirus 71 (EV71) can present with a high rate of neurological complications, including meningoencephalitis, pulmonary complications, and can even cause infant death. HFMD caused by EV71 has become a major emerging infectious disease in Asia and the highly pathogenic potential of EV71 clearly requires the attention of world medical community. Recently, an inactivated vaccine(vero cell) against EV71 has been licensed by SFDA in China, this clinical trial phase Ib is armed to evaluate safety in Chinese healthy children (from 13 to 60 months old) and infants (from 6 to 12 months old) and also provide the evidences for the EV71 vaccine immunogenicity and the probable immunizing dose.

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety, and Immunogenicity of an EV71 Vaccine

Enterovirus 71 Infection

Subjects will receive the first IM injection of study vaccine on Day 1 and will receive a second dose 56 days later. A booster vaccine will be given 365 days after the first dose in subjects 2 months to < 2 years of age. The last study visit is on Day 422 when subjects will be contacted via telephone / home visit system to assess for adverse events and concomitant medications.

A Pilot Study of Filtrum-STI in Children With Viral Gastroenteritis

Viral Gastroenteritis

This is a phase II double blind multicenter randomized placebo-controled clinical study aimed to find out whether treatment with Filtrum-STI (orally administered 0,4g tablets) is safe and effective in children with viral gastroenteritis. Filtrum-STI (lignin hydrolytic) is a drug with a high absorbing ability, that binds and eliminates toxins, pathogenic microorganisms and viruses. Filtrum-STI is inoffensive for mucous membranes, enhances colonic propulsion and improves its natural microflora. The drug is not toxic and well combines with other medication
