RATIONALE: Giving colony-stimulating factors, such as G-CSF, helps stem cells move from the bone marrow to the blood so they can be collected. Treating stem cells collected from the patient's blood in the laboratory may increase the number of immune cells that can mount an immune response against the tumor. The treated stem cells may help destroy any remaining tumor cells (graft-versus-tumor effect). Chemotherapy may also be given to the patient to prepare the bone marrow for the stem cell transplant. PURPOSE: This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of autologous T cells when given with or without cyclophosphamide and fludarabine in treating patients with recurrent or persistent advanced ovarian epithelial cancer, primary peritoneal cavity cancer, or fallopian tube cancer. Efficacy and Safety Study of M200(Volociximab in Combination With Liposomal Doxorubicin)

This is an open-label study of liposomal doxorubicin with or without volociximab for the treatment of subjects with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer or primary peritoneal cancer relapsed after prior therapy with Plat/Taxane-based chemo. Volociximab is an anti-angiogenic integrin inhibitor being developed for the treatment of solid tumors. Preclinical data with a surrogate volociximab antibody administered as monotherapy indicate encouraging efficacy in terms of tumor reduction and anti-angiogenic effects in mouse ovarian cancer xenograft models. In clinical studies, volociximab has been evaluated in several solid tumor types, including pancreatic, renal, and melanoma, with many subjects who entered the studies with progressive disease remaining progression-free for several months. In all studies in solid tumors, volociximab has shown a favorable safety profile when administered at 10 mg/kg q2wks and more recently at 15 mg/kg qwk. A study of volociximab in combination with liposomal doxorubicin in subjects with ovarian cancer or primary peritoneal cancer who have relapsed after prior platin/taxane therapies is warranted to further evaluate the drug's efficacy and safety. The investigators have thus far activated stage 2 of this study at 11/25 sites. Worldwide, the study aims to enroll 150 subjects.

This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of cisplatin given together with paclitaxel in treating patients with stage IIB, stage IIC, stage III, or stage IV ovarian epithelial cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cavity cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) and giving them in different ways may kill more tumor cells.

This is a multicenter, open-label, two-arm, 2-stage, Phase 2 study of NKTR-102 in patients with metastatic or locally advanced platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. Approximately 70 patients will be randomized 1:1 into one of two treatment arms. NKTR-102 will be administered at a dose level of 145 mg/m^2 in both arms. In Arm A, NKTR-102 will be given on a q14d schedule. In Arm B, NKTR-102 will be given on a q21d schedule. After the initial 70 patients have been enrolled, Arm B will enroll approximately 110 additional patients.

Colorectal and Ovarian Cancer Patients With Liver Metastases

This study is intended to test an experimental drug called EMD 525797 (Abituzumab). This drug is not yet approved for sale and has only been tested in a small number of people to date (prior to this study starting another research study was carried out involving 37 healthy volunteers receiving the study drug). Until more is known about this study drug, it can only be used in research studies. This research study is planned to answer important questions about how the study drug is tolerated and how it may work in subjects with ovarian and colorectal cancer which has spread to the liver (i.e. metastatic cancer). The Sponsor (Merck KGaA) of this study is developing the study drug.
