Vaccines made from peptides may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cyclophosphamide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving vaccine therapy and cyclophosphamide may kill more tumor cells.

Monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab and bevacizumab, may block tumor growth in different ways such as boosting your own immune system to find, recognize and kill tumor cells as well as by blocking the growth of new blood vessels necessary for tumor growth and nutrition. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as low dose oral cyclophosphamide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, as well as by further enhancing your own body's immune response against cancer cells. As these three drugs have all been shown to improve the immune response against cancer cells giving pembrolizumab, bevacizumab, and cyclophosphamide together may work better in treating patients with recurrent ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer.

Ovarian CancerThis is a Phase 1b/2 study of AVB-S6-500 in combination with pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD) or paclitaxel (Pac) in patients with platinum resistant recurrent ovarian cancer. The phase 1b portion of the study is open label and patients will receive either AVB-S6-500+PLD or AVB-S6-500+ Pac. The Phase 2 portion of the study is randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to compare efficacy and tolerability of AVB-S6-500 in combination with PLD or Pac versus placebo plus PLD or Pac.

High-grade Serous Ovarian CancerThe purpose of this study is to make a preliminary assessment of the efficacy of a combined APR-246 and PLD chemotherapy regimen in patients with platinum-resistant recurrent high grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) with mutated TP53. In addition, the study aims to assess the safety profile of the combined APR-246 and PLD chemotherapy regimen, to evaluate potential biomarkers, and to assess the biological activity in tumor and surrogate tissues.
