This is a prospective single-arm exploratory clinical study. The efficacy and safety of camrelizumab combined with chemoradiotherapy and camrelizumab combined with chemotherapy were evaluated in patients with advanced esophageal cancer who had not previously received any systemic antitumor therapy for esophageal cancer.

Cellspan™ Esophageal Implant-Adult (CEI) The CEI is a combination product consisting of an engineered synthetic scaffold (device constituent) seeded and cultured with the patient's adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells (biologic constituent), intended to stimulate regeneration of a structurally intact, living biologic esophageal conduit, in patients requiring full circumferential esophageal reconstruction up to 6 cm segment in length. This is a single arm, unblinded, multicenter, prospective first-in-human (FIH) feasibility study to be performed at a maximum of 5 centers in the United States with a maximum of 10 subjects in total. All subjects will be followed for a minimum of 2 years post-implant surgery. Since this is an FIH experience, the study will utilize an independent Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) to evaluate safety on a continuous basis to mitigate any safety risks to subjects. A sentinel approach to enrollment of subjects shall be guided by the DMC review of cases.

This is an Open, Single Arm, Exploratory and Phase II Clinical Trial of Anlotinib Hydrochloride Capsules Combined With TQB2450 Injection in Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma (ESCC) Patients as Postoperative Adjuvant Therapy. In order to observe and evaluate the efficacy and safety of Anlotinib Hydrochloride Capsules combined with TQB2450 Injection in treatment of patients with ESCC. The primary endpoint is disease free survival (DFS).

Application of the perioperative enhanced recovery protocol has allowed to carry out esophagectomy to the patients with severe comorbidities and has led reducing the risks of severe postoperative complications.

Impedance planimetry using Endoscopic Functional Lumen Imaging Probe (EndoFLIP) device is a promising diagnostic tool to assess esophageal, esophago-gastric junction and pylorus function. It allows the measurement of esophageal and pylorus distensibility as well as contractile activity in response to distension. Examination is useful performed under sedation. General anesthesia might affect distensibility values. The aim of this study is to normal values for esophageal, esophago-gastric junction and pylorus distensibility in controls during an upper gastro-intestinal endoscopy performed under general anesthesia.

ActivSight™ combines an innovative form factor and proprietary software to deliver precise, objective, real-time visualization of blood flow and tissue perfusion intraoperatively for laparoscope-based surgery. A small adaptor that fits between any existing laparoscope and camera systems and a separate light source placed along any current commercial system will deliver objective real-time tissue perfusion and blood flow information intraoperatively. Primary Objective: To determine the feasibility of ActivSight™ in detecting and displaying tissue perfusion and blood flow in the conduit and foregut anastomoses in esophageal resection/reconstructive surgery. The investigators will compare the precision and accuracy among the naked eye inspection, ICG and LSCI in assessing the vascularity of the conduit.

The aim of this post-market clinical follow-up study is to evaluate the continued safety and performance of the marketed Evolution® Esophageal Stent System (Partially- and Fully Covered).

Magnetically controlled capsule endoscopy (MCCE) is an outstanding opportunity for the painless endoscopic screening of the esophagus and stomach before small bowel examiantion. Further improvement in patients positioning might increase the esophageal transit time of the capsule endoscope and could improve the sensitivity and specificity of the esophageal MCCE investigation. Our present study aimed to compare the visualization of the esophagus (especially the Z-line) with different capsule swallowing protocols.
