In-Vivo randomized clinical trial to compare between the clinical performance of fluoride varnish versus MI paste (CPP_ACP) and the PRG- Barrier coat material concerning enamel remineralization, arrest of active early lesions, resolution of inactive incipient lesions and patient satisfaction and motivation with a 9-months follow up using a high resolution Nikon camera with Canon 700D body. Canon EF 100mm f2.8 USM Macro Lens and Nissin MF18 ring flash Canon fit for better illumination. Also, A set of retractors and A set child occlusal mirrors with A contraster for assessment of the remineralization progress of the white spot lesion.

Phototherapy, including ultraviolet B (UVB) and ultraviolet A (UVA) light, has been used to treat a number of dermatologic conditions. Psoriasis is one of the most common conditions treated with phototherapy, in which phototherapy is often indicated for extensive disease with contraindications for other systemic treatments. The mechanism of action of phototherapy for the treatment of psoriasis is not completely understood; however, it is known that UVB light induces apoptosis of pathogenic T cells and keratinocytes, which may reduce the overactive immune response and epidermal hyperproliferation. Phototherapy has shown some efficacy for other diseases, such as alopecia areata (AA) and polymorphous light eruption (PMLE). However, phototherapy is not always an accessible treatment option for patients due to cost or lack of time.

A Study to Evaluate JAK Inhibitor Cream in EGFR-inhibitor-induced Skin Rash

Epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitors (EGFRIs) are widely used targeted agents that have been approved for the treatment of various tumor types. In some clinical studies with EGFRIs, the incidence of dermatology AE, the skin rash, is reportedly as high as 95%, which profoundly impact the patients' quality of life. However no treament for onset skin rash has been approved to be effective by any clinical trial yet. Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor, has been approved for or studied in a variety of skin conditions such as alopecia areata, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis. Thus the investigators intend to evaluate the efficacy and safety of JAK inhibitor cream for the treatment of EGFRIs-induced skin rash in cancer patients.

White Spot Lesion

The study aims to investigate the effectiveness of a new treatment for demineralized white spot lesions (WSLs) after fixed appliance therapy. The trial will consist of four parallel groups: control, Fluoride Varnish (FV), Casein Phosphopeptide-Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (CPP-ACP), and Resin Infiltration (RI) groups. Patients will be recruited from Riyadh Elm University's electronic record system and contacted by phone. They will be given an appointment to visit the dental clinic. A total of 22 patients with WSLs will be selected for the study. Two examiners will perform dental examinations using a dental mirror and a ball-ended probe to code the WSL against the ICDAS system. The level of agreement between the two examiners will be assessed using reliability analysis, with an agreement level of above 80% considered. Buccal WSLs will be defined as those that extend from the center of the buccal to either the mesial or distal surface. WSLs coded 3 or higher will be excluded from further examination and treated accordingly.
