Study of Coagulation Factor VIIa Marzeptacog Alfa (Activated) in Subjects With Inherited Bleeding...
Factor VII DeficiencyGlanzmann Thrombasthenia1 moreThe purpose of the trial is to evaluate the PK, bioavailability, PD, efficacy and safety of MarzAA for on demand treatment and control of bleeding episodes in adult subjects with inherited bleeding disorders.
Study Comparing the Pharmacokinetic of Biosimilar Eptacog Alfa With Novoseven®, in Patients With...
Factor VII DeficiencyThe purpose of this multicentre, randomized, double blinded, single dose, two-way cross-over study, is to compare the pharmacokinetics (PK) of biosimilar eptacog alfa (activated) with Novoseven in 24 patients, adult and children (>12 years), not bleeding, with inherited coagulation factor VII (FVII) deficiency (FVII <1%). Patients will be randomized to receive either a single dose of eptacog alfa biosimilar 30 μg/kg and one single dose of NovoSeven 30 μg/kg, or vice versa, with doses separated by a washout period. All patients will be followed 12 months and will receive biosimilar eptacog alfa, on demand, for every bleeding episode that should occur - or - for prophylaxis, with the aim of monitoring of inhibiting antibody formation, lack of efficacy and collection of safety data.
A Phase I of SS109 in Hemophilia A or and B With Inhibitors
Hemophilia A With InhibitorHemophilia B With Inhibitor1 moreThis phase I study aims to evaluate the safety, PK/PD and immunogenicity of SS109 in hemophilia A or and B with inhibitors. Twenty -seven patients are enrolled in study, and divided into five dose cohorts, from 30μg/kg to 360μg/kg. Dose 1 cohort enrolls three patients, each other dose cohorts enroll six patients. All patients included in the study will continue to be followed up until 28 days after SS109 administration.
Study of the Pharmacokinetics and Safety of Recombinant Factor VIIa Fusion Protein (rVIIa-FP, CSL689)...
Congenital Coagulation Factor VII DeficiencyThe purpose of this study is to investigate the pharmacokinetics (PK) and safety of rVIIa-FP (CSL689) in a total of 10 to 16 male or female adults with inherited coagulation factor VII (FVII) deficiency. Subjects will receive a single dose of their routine FVII replacement product (ie, either recombinant activated coagulation FVII [rFVIIa, eptacog alfa (activated)] or plasma-derived FVII [pdFVII]) as a comparator, and will then be randomly assigned to a single low dose or a single high dose of the study product CSL689 (8 subjects per CSL689 dose level). Serial blood samples for PK analysis will be taken up to 24 hours after the eptacog alfa (activated) or pdFVII injection, and up to 48 hours after the CSL689 injection. Subject safety will be routinely monitored throughout the study.
Treatment of Inherited Factor VII Deficiency
Factor VII DeficiencyFVII deficiency is a rare coagulation disorder. A limited number of patients are found in most treatment centres and countries. Treatment demands vary considerably amongst FVII deficient patients. Therefore, regular clinical studies will meet with recruitment problems in this particular patient population. The present study intends to elucidate the bleeding patterns in a well-defined collective of FVII deficiency patients who are carefully characterised, to document the actual use of different treatment modalities in different subgroups and to evaluate the efficacy and safety of current available treatment modalities in bleedings, surgery and prophylaxis. The purpose is to gain some evidence based knowledge of treatment of patients with FVII deficiency - an area where treatment decisions are made more on personal clinical experience than on consolidated clinical evidence. This study intends to register treatment practices as they are actually performed - in a structured and documented way.
Treatment of Congenital Factor VII Deficiency
Congenital Bleeding DisorderCongenital FVII DeficiencyThis study is conducted globally. The aim of this study is to describe the treatment modalities and outcomes of bleeding episodes, surgery and prophylaxis in patients with factor VII (FVII) deficiency in addition to evaluate the presence (in already treated patients) and/or the appearance of inhibiting antibodies to FVII and/or therapy-related thrombosis. Due to a Novo Nordisk commitment to the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP), Novo Nordisk receives data on treatment with activated recombinant human FVII (rFVIIa, NovoSeven®) in patients with FVII deficiency from the Seven Treatment Evaluation Registry (STER, NCT01269138). These patients can also have been treated with other haemostatics for systemic administration.
