An Observational Research Study of the Health of Joints in People With Haemophilia Taking the Medicine...

Haemophilia A

This study will collect information on the long term health of joints in people with haemophilia A who have started treatment with Esperoct within twelve months prior to participation to the study. This study is conducted to look at how joint health of people with haemophilia changes over time when they are receiving the medicine Esperoct. The participants will get Esperoct as prescribed to the participants by the study doctor. The participant's treatment will not be affected by their involvement in the study. Every six months, the participants will be asked to answer some questionnaires about their joints, their pain and their ability to be physically active. Their participation in the study will last for no more than 2 years. The participants are free to leave the study at any time and for any reason. This will not affect their current and future medical care.

Dynamics of the Anti-factor VIII Antibody Signature During Treatment With Emicizumab

Severe Hemophilia ASevere Hemophilia A With Inhibitor1 more

The goal of this observational study is to learn about the changes of antibodies and inhibitors against the coagulation factor VIII in patients with severe hemophilia A receiving emicizumab therapy. No additional visits or procedures are planned. Patients in this study will continue to receive their routine care and analysis will be done from left over samples from routine visits.

Learning to Live With Non-severe Haemophilia

Hemophilia

While the burden of standard treatment may be reduced through the use of gene therapy, converting those with severe haemophilia to a mild or moderate phenotype, the long-term sequelae of previous joint bleeds and associated limitations imposed on those with severe haemophilia may not translate to lessen the biomedical burden of living with a history of severe haemophilia. We wish to explore these issues further in the Learning to Live study. The study will also seek to identify the ongoing support needs of those who transition to a milder bleeding phenotype.

A Study to Learn More About Treatment With Damoctocog Alfa Pegol, How it is Used in Every Day Practice...

Hemophilia A

People with hemophilia A do not have enough of a protein found naturally in the blood called "clotting factor 8", also known as FVIII. This protein helps the blood to clump together to prevent and stop bleeding. People with lower levels of FVIII or FVIII that does not work properly may bleed for a long time from minor wounds, bleed into their joints, or have internal bleeding. The study treatment, Jivi (also called damoctocog alfa pegol), is already available as a treatment for people aged 12 years and older with hemophilia A, to help prevent bleeding, also known as "prophylactic" treatment. It works by replacing the missing FVIII, or the FVIII that does not work properly. It can also be used to stop bleeding that has already occurred and prior to surgery to prevent bleeding. The main goal of this study is to learn how damoctocog alfa pegol is used in the "real world" as a treatment in the United States (US) and how well it works and what other treatments patients use while receiving damoctocog alfa pegol treatment. It will also determine how satisfied people are with the treatment. There will be no required visits with a study doctor in this study. The study will include about 20 male or female patients in the US aged 12 years and over who have hemophilia A. All the patients in this study will have switched from their previous FVIII replacement treatment to damoctocog alfa pegol. While the patients are receiving damoctocog alfa pegol, they will complete a survey to say how they feel about the treatment. Their doctors will also record information about their treatment with damoctocog alfa pegol and how well it is working. This study will collect information from the patients' medical records and surveys. They will use this information to find out more about treatment with damoctocog alfa pegol under "real world" conditions. They will look at: how often the patients receive damoctocog alfa pegol and how much they use what other treatments the patients received before receiving damoctocog alfa pegol, how they used it and how much they used how well damoctocog alfa pegol works at preventing bleeding, and how it compares to previous products used.

Study to Learn More About the Safety of Drug Jivi Over a Long Period of Time in Previously Treated...

Hemophilia A

In this observational study researchers want to learn more about the safety of drug Jivi over a long period of time. Jivi (generic name: Damoctocog alfa pegol) is an approved blood clotting Factor VIII (FVIII) medication for the treatment of hemophilia A (bleeding disorder resulting from a lack of FVIII). It is manufactured via recombinant technology and has an extended half-live, i.e. it will stay longer in the body than other FVIII products. Therefore Jivi acts longer in the body which reduces the frequency of drug injections. This study will enroll previously treated patients with hemophilia A who are receiving Jivi regularly at their treating doctors to prevent bleeding. Observation for each patient will last for at least 4 years, and medical data will be collected during patients' routine visits at their treating doctors.

Study of Coagulation Factor VIIa Marzeptacog Alfa (Activated) in Subjects With Hemophilia A or B...

Hemophilia A With InhibitorHemophilia B With Inhibitor

The purpose of the trial is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of MarzAA for on-demand treatment and control of bleeding episodes in hemophilia A or B patients with inhibitors compared with their standard of care (SOC).

Study of Recombinant Factor VIIa Fusion Protein (rVIIa-FP, CSL689) for On-demand Treatment of Bleeding...

Hemophilia A With InhibitorsHemophilia B With Inhibitors

The purpose of this study is to investigate the pharmacokinetics (PK), efficacy, and safety of rVIIa-FP (CSL689). The study will enroll approximately 54 male subjects, 12 to 65 years of age, with hemophilia types A or B who have developed inhibitors to FVIII or FIX. The study consists of 3 sequential parts (Parts 1, 2, 3): The purpose of Part 1 (PK part) is to evaluate the PK of a single treatment of CSL689 (low dose or high dose) and compare with the PK of a single treatment of Eptacog alfa (low dose or high dose). In Part 1, CSL689 and Eptacog alfa will be given by the doctor at the study center. The purpose of Part 2 (Dose-evaluation part) is to identify which of the 2 tested dose levels of CSL689 shows the best efficacy and safety in stopping acute bleeding events (this dose will be called the "population best dose"). The purpose of the final Part 3 (Repeated-dose part) is to confirm the efficacy and safety of the "population best dose" identified in Part 2. In Parts 2 and 3, subjects will self-administer a specified number of CSL689 infusions at home on-demand (ie, when a bleeding event occurs), will keep an electronic diary, and will visit the center at monthly intervals. This study is expected to last for up to 16 months for the subjects participating in all 3 parts, and up to 9 months for the subjects participating in Part 3 only.

Multiple Escalating Dose Study of BAY1093884 in Adults With Hemophilia A or B With or Without Inhibitors...

Hemophilia A and B

The purpose of this study was to assess the safety and tolerability of multiple doses of a human monoclonal antibody (BAY1093884) given under the skin in subjects with hemophilia A or B. This antibody was intended to protect from bleeds by inhibiting a substance (Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor, TFPI) that reduces the ability of the body to form blood clots.
