Borderline Ovarian Mucinous TumorOvarian Mucinous Cystadenocarcinoma22 more

This randomized phase III trial studies carboplatin given together with paclitaxel with or without bevacizumab to see how well it works compared with oxaliplatin given together with capecitabine with or without bevacizumab as first-line therapy in treating patients with newly diagnosed stage II-IV, or recurrent (has come back) stage I epithelial ovarian or fallopian tube cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin, paclitaxel, oxaliplatin, and capecitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, may block tumor growth in different ways by targeting certain cells. It is not yet known which regimen of combination chemotherapy given together with or without bevacizumab is more effective in treating epithelial ovarian cancer or fallopian tube cancer.

Clear Cell AdenocarcinomaFallopian Tube Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma23 more

This randomized phase III trial studies carboplatin, paclitaxel and gemcitabine hydrochloride when given together with or without bevacizumab after surgery to see how well it works in treating patients with ovarian, epithelial, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer that has come back. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin, paclitaxel and gemcitabine hydrochloride work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. It is not yet known whether combination chemotherapy is more effective when given with or without bevacizumab after surgery in treating patients with ovarian, epithelial, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer.

Malignant Peritoneal NeoplasmMalignant Retroperitoneal Neoplasm32 more

This phase Ib trial studies the side effects and best dose of nivolumab with or without ipilimumab in treating patients with female reproductive cancer that has come back (recurrent) or is high grade and has spread extensively throughout the peritoneal cavity (metastatic). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.

BRCA-Mutated Ovarian CarcinomaBRCA1 Gene Mutation29 more

This early phase I trial studies how well olaparib works in treating patients with newly diagnosed BRCA-mutant ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian cancer before surgery. Olaparib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

Testing the Addition of an Immunotherapy Drug, Tremelimumab, to the PARP Inhibition Drug, Olaparib,...

Fallopian Tube Endometrioid TumorFallopian Tube High Grade Serous Adenocarcinoma12 more

This phase II trial studies how well olaparib with or without tremelimumab works in treating patients with ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer that has come back (recurrent). PARPs are proteins that help repair DNA mutations. PARP inhibitors, such as olaparib, can keep PARP from working, so tumor cells can't repair themselves, and they may stop growing. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as tremelimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving olaparib and tremelimumab together may work better than olaparib alone in treating patients with ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer.

Stage III Fallopian Tube Cancer AJCC v7Stage III Ovarian Cancer AJCC v6 and v713 more

This phase II trial studies how well pembrolizumab works when given in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel in treating patients with stage III-IV ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving pembrolizumab in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel may be a better treatment for ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer.

Fallopian Tube Clear Cell AdenocarcinomaFallopian Tube Endometrioid Adenocarcinoma24 more

This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and the best dose of ruxolitinib phosphate when given together with paclitaxel and carboplatin and to see how well they work in treating patients with stage III-IV epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. Ruxolitinib phosphate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving ruxolitinib phosphate together with paclitaxel and carboplatin may be a better treatment for epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer compared to paclitaxel and carboplatin alone.

Gene-Modified T Cells With or Without Decitabine in Treating Patients With Advanced Malignancies...

Advanced Fallopian Tube CarcinomaAdvanced Malignant Solid Neoplasm48 more

This phase I/IIa trial studies the side effects and best dose of gene-modified T cells when given with or without decitabine, and to see how well they work in treating patients with malignancies expressing cancer-testis antigens 1 (NY-ESO-1) gene that have spread to other places in the body (advanced). A T cell is a type of immune cell that can recognize and kill abnormal cells of the body. Placing a modified gene for NY-ESO-1 into the patients' T cells in the laboratory and then giving them back to the patient may help the body build an immune response to kill tumor cells that express NY-ESO-1. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as decitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet known whether giving gene-modified T cells with or without decitabine works better in treating patients with malignancies expressing NY-ESO-1.

Outcomes After Secondary Cytoreductive Surgery With or Without Carboplatin Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal...

Ovarian CancerFallopian Tubes Cancer1 more

The purpose of this study is to see if the investigators can improve the treatment of this type of cancer. They want to find out what effects, good and/or bad, giving heated chemotherapy into the belly, known as hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC), has on the patient and this type of cancer. The goal of HIPEC is to expose any cancer left in the abdomen after surgery to high doses of chemotherapy. The chemotherapy is heated in the hope that this will make it easier for it to get into and kill the cancer cells. The drug used for HIPEC will be carboplatin, a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved drug for use in ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal cancer.

Ovarian CancerOvarian Carcinoma12 more

The purpose of this study is to see if propranolol and etodolac along with mind-body resilience training/MBRT and music therapy help participants who are experiencing physiological stress before, during, and after primary debulking surgery/PDS or IDS and also if it's better than the standard-of-care approach (no intervention for reducing stress).
