Validation of Software for Assessment of Atrial Fibrillation From Data Acquired by a Wearable Smartwatch...

Atrial Fibrillation

The goal of this study is to validate the Fitbit ECG software algorithm's ability to detect atrial fibrillation using data derived from a Fitbit wrist-worn consumer device that features a single lead ECG. The performance of the software application will be measured against centralized Core Lab physician-adjudicated 12-lead ECG tracings from FDA cleared ECG monitors as reference standards. The Fitbit software is intended as a pre-screening technology. It should identify candidates who may benefit from further evaluation. The software is not intended to be a diagnostic system.

Characterization of Left Atrial Substrate by Comparison of Bipolar Voltage Maps With Standard Focal...

Atrial Fibrillation (AF)

This study is to investigate the correlation and to obtain the coefficient of correlation between the global and local bipolar signals (voltage maps) of the LA in sinus rhythm using a focal 4.5 mm irrigated-tip ablation catheter (in combination with microelectrodes), a ring-electrode circular mapping catheter and a microelectrode multipolar catheter in combination with the Rhythmia system.

Atrial FibrillationTachycardia3 more

The SWAF study will compare the performance of a smartwatch combined with Cardiologs Platform algorithm in the detection of Atrial Fibrillation and other arrhythmias with that measured on a manually read 12-lead ECG in subjects hospitalized for cardioversion or AF ablation.

Study Watch AF Detection At Home

Atrial Fibrillation

This is a multi-center, prospective, non-randomized study to evaluate the performance of the study watch PPG algorithm in detecting irregular rhythms suggestive of atrial fibrillation (AF) in subjects at risk of having an event of AF in the free living (home) environment.

AMBULATE VASCADE MVP Same Day Discharge Retrospective Registry

Atrial Fibrillation

A multi-center, retrospective, single arm post market registry to evaluate procedural outcomes data using the Cardiva VASCADE MVP Venous Vascular Closure System (VVCS) for the management of the femoral venotomy after catheter-based atrial fibrillation interventions with or without another arrythmia performed via 6-12F procedural sheaths with single or multiple access sites per limb for patients who are discharged the same day.

Comparison Between "Conventional Monitoring" Versus "Monitoring Via Vitaphone" in the Detection...

Atrial Fibrillation

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common atrial arrhythmia. Ablation of AF is a recent technique, nevertheless, the success rates of ablation vary between 50% and 70% depending on the paroxysmal or persistent nature of AF. These rates are difficult to assess in routine practice because they are based on the recurrence of fibrillation. The Vitaphone is a non-invasive device, with which the patient can record a single-track ECG as his or her symptoms take place. The plot is then transmitted via the internet to the centre, which can thus diagnose a relapse of AF. The aim of our study is to correlate the rhythm and symptoms of 20 patients with Vitaphone 6 months after AF ablation and to compare them with 20 other patients receiving conventional monitoring.

Atrial Fibrillation After PFO Closure

Stroke

An increased risk of atrial fibrillation (AF) after patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure was observed in randomized trials but systematic screening of AF was not performed in these studies. Purpose: The objective of this study was to evaluate incidence of AF in patients who underwent percutaneous PFO closure with serial 24-hours ambulatory ECG (AECG) monitoring during 6 months follow-up. Primary endpoint was incidence of AF on ECG monitoring. Secondary endpoints were clinical outcomes (symptoms, hospitalization from cardiovascular causes, ischemic stroke, or bleeding) up to 6 month follow-up.

Validation of the Advisor HD Grid Mapping Catheter in Atrial Fibrillation Ablation

Atrial Fibrillation

The primary study concept is to evaluate the superiority of the HD Grid high-density mapping catheter over the current standard 20-pole circular mapping catheter in pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) in atrial fibrillation. A minimum of 20 evaluable subjects with symptomatic atrial fibrillation scheduled for a clinically indicated first PVI ablation will be included.

HEart Surgery In Atrial Fibrillation and Supraventicular Tachycardia

Atrial Fibrillation

Atrial fibrillation is the most common cardiac arrhythmia, the incidence of which increases drastically with age. As more and more elderly patients undergo heart surgery, the proportion of patients in this population will increase. Atrial fibrillation has been shown to be a poor prognostic factor in several surgical situations. The aim of our study was to assess long-term mortality among patients with preoperative AF under various cardiac surgery settings, with a particular emphasis on the strategy of coronary revascularization.

Association Between Genetic Variant Scores and Warfarin Effect

Atrial FibrillationDeep Vein Thrombosis3 more

Study objective is to determine whether there is an association between genetic variant risk scores and clinical outcomes (percent time in therapeutic range, time to reach therapeutic international normalized ratio (INR), INR ≥ 4, bleeding event, ischemic stroke, death) in participants taking warfarin for atrial fibrillation, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), and/or intracardiac thrombosis.
