Use of Arterio-venous Fistula as First Choice for Intravenous Drug Administration in Kidney Transplant...
Evaluate the Risks of Using Arteriovenous Fistula as First Choise for Drug AdministrationUse of arteriovenous fistula for IV drug administration is controversial and often prohibited by nephrologists. However, we have been using this method in our department for years now in order to keep the patients 'veins for other fistulas in the future. The aim of this study is to evaluate our practice and maybe provide a justification for a larger multi-center study given the importance of this subject in patients with chronic renal failure.
Imaging Perilymphatic Fistulas After Barotrauma
Perilymphatic FistulasOur objective is to validate the CT / MRI combination of non-injected rock for the rapid positive diagnosis of perilymphatic fistulas.

Role of Preoperative Multislice Computed Tomography in Whipple's Operation.
Pancreatic FistulaPreoperative assessment of visceral fat volume(VFV),total fat volume(TFV),pancreas/spleen density ratio and pancreatic duct diameter by multislice computed tomography abdomen to predict the risk of pancreatic fistula after Whipple's operation.
Management of Anal Fistula of Crohn Disease
Anal FistulaCrohn DiseaseThe management of anal fistula in Crohn Disease is complex. In aim to obtain the healing of the anal fistula, different approaches can be proposed but the best strategy is not yet determined. The aim was to describe the therapeutic management of anal fistula in Crohn Disease.

Biodegradable Pancreatic Stents for the Prevention of Postoperative Pancreatic Fistula After Cephalic...
Pancreatic FistulaPancreas Neoplasm3 moreBackground: postoperative pancreatic fistula (POPF) remains the most important morbidity after pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD). There is no consensual technique for pancreatic reconstruction and many surgeons use a transanastomotic drain. Currently, the stents used are not degradable and they can cause obstruction, stricture and pancreatitis. The use of biodegradable stents that disappear a few months after the intervention could have a role in the prevention of pancreaticojejunostomy complications. Material and method: A single-center prospective randomized study was planned with patients undergoing PD. A duct-to-mucosa end-to-side anastomosis is performed for the pancreaticojejunal anastomosis and the stent is placed from the pancreatic duct to the jejunum. The primary outcome of the study is the evaluation of the presence of POPF (drainage fluid amylase value of > 5000 U/L on the first day).
Role of Color Doppler Ultrasonography in Assessment of Vascular Access Surveillance in Hemodialysis...
Arteriovenous FistulaThe aim of this study is to provide an overview of the possible applications of DUS during the maturation and postoperative follow-up of vascular access, with particular emphasis to establish a relationship between doppler Ultrasound parameters including: Flow volume. Outflow vein diameter. Outflow vein depth. Resistive index.
Zurich Fistula Cohort Study
Fistula;RectalFistula; Rectouterine3 moreThis is a pro- and retrospective cohort study to evaluate the natural history and outcome of various treatment options of patients with fistula. At each clinical visit parameters describing activity of a fistula, potential underlying Crohn's disease, investigations as well as the current treatment will be entered into a database. Selected patients can also be contacted by phone in the form of a structured interview. Data will be analyzed to determine treatment outcomes, characterize the natural history as well as risk factors for complications of treatment and an unfavorable disease course. The same data will be obtained and analyzed retrospectively from patients who visited the clinic prior to January 2017.
