Everolimus and Bendamustine Hydrochloride in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Hematologic...
Recurrent Adult Diffuse Large Cell LymphomaRecurrent Adult Hodgkin Lymphoma6 moreThis phase I trial studies the side effects and the best dose of everolimus when given together with bendamustine hydrochloride in treating patients with cancer of the blood (hematologic cancer) that has returned after a period of improvement (relapsed) or did not get better with a particular treatment (refractory). Everolimus may prevent cancer cells from growing by blocking a protein that is needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as bendamustine hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving everolimus together with bendamustine hydrochloride may be a better treatment for hematologic cancer.
Study of BKM120 & Rituximab in Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Indolent B-Cell Lymphoma
Extranodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma of Mucosa-associated Lymphoid TissueNodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma7 moreThis phase I clinical trial studies the side effects and the best dose of phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase (PI3K) inhibitor BKM120 when given together with rituximab in treating patients with relapsed or refractory low-grade B-cell lymphoma. PI3K inhibitor BKM120 may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Giving PI3K inhibitor BKM120 with rituximab may be an effective treatment for B-cell lymphoma.
Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of BI 695500 vs. Rituximab as First Line-treatment in Patients...
LymphomaFollicularThe primary objective of the study is to assess the pharmacokinetic (PK) similarity of Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) 695500 vs. rituximab (MabThera®) in previously untreated patients with low tumor burden follicular lymphoma (LTBFL). The secondary objective of the study is to evaluate the pharmacodynamics (PD), safety, and anti-tumor activity of BI 695500 vs. rituximab (MabThera®), as well as the presence of anti-drug antibodies (ADAs).
A Study of PCI-32765 (Ibrutinib) in Patients With Refractory Follicular Lymphoma
LymphomaThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of PCI-32765 (ibrutinib) administered to patients with chemoimmunotherapy-resistant follicular lymphoma (FL).
Cyclophosphamide for Prevention of Graft-Versus-Host Disease After Allogeneic Peripheral Blood Stem...
Accelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaAdult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Remission66 moreThis phase II trial studies how well cyclophosphamide works in preventing chronic graft-versus-host disease after allogeneic peripheral blood stem cell transplant in patients with hematological malignancies. Giving chemotherapy and total-body irradiation before transplantation helps stop the growth of cancer cells and prevents the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells. Healthy stem cells from a donor that are infused into the patient help the patient's bone marrow make blood cells; red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Sometimes, however, the transplanted donor cells can cause an immune response against the body's normal cells, which is called graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). Giving cyclophosphamide after transplant may prevent this from happening or may make chronic GVHD less severe.
Prolonged or Standard Infusion of Cefepime Hydrochloride in Treating Patients With Febrile Neutropenia...
Adult Acute Lymphoblastic LeukemiaAdult Acute Myeloid Leukemia38 moreThis randomized pilot clinical trial studies how well giving prolonged infusion compared to standard infusion of cefepime hydrochloride works in treating patients with febrile neutropenia. Giving cefepime hydrochloride over a longer period of time may be more effective than giving cefepime hydrochloride over the standard time.
Donor T Cells After Donor Stem Cell Transplant in Treating Patients With Hematologic Malignancies...
Accelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaAdult Acute Myeloid Leukemia With 11q23 (MLL) Abnormalities62 moreThis pilot phase II trial studies how well giving donor T cells after donor stem cell transplant works in treating patients with hematologic malignancies. In a donor stem cell transplant, the donated stem cells may replace the patient's immune cells and help destroy any remaining cancer cells (graft-versus-tumor effect). Giving an infusion of the donor's T cells (donor lymphocyte infusion) after the transplant may help increase this effect.
MK2206 in Treating Younger Patients With Recurrent or Refractory Solid Tumors or Leukemia
Accelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaAcute Leukemias of Ambiguous Lineage52 moreThis phase I trial is studying the side effects, best way to give, and best dose of Akt inhibitor MK2206 (MK2206) in treating patients with recurrent or refractory solid tumors or leukemia. MK2206 may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
High-Dose Busulfan and High-Dose Cyclophosphamide Followed By Donor Bone Marrow Transplant in Treating...
Accelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaAdult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Remission71 moreRATIONALE: Giving high doses of chemotherapy drugs, such as busulfan and cyclophosphamide, before a donor bone marrow transplant helps stop the growth of cancer cells. It may also stop the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells. When the healthy stem cells from a donor are infused into the patient they may help the patient's bone marrow make stem cells, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can make an immune response against the body's normal cells. Giving cyclosporine, methylprednisolone, and methotrexate after transplant may stop this from happening. PURPOSE: This clinical trial studies high-dose busulfan and high-dose cyclophosphamide followed by donor bone marrow transplant in treating patients with leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, multiple myeloma, or recurrent Hodgkin or Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Study of Vorinostat (MK-0683) With Follicular Lymphoma (FL), Other Indolent B-cell Non-Hodgkin's...
LymphomaThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of vorinostat (MK-0683) in participants with relapsed and/or refractory follicular lymphoma. The exploratory purpose of this study is to evaluate efficacy of MK-0683 in participants with relapsed/refractory non-FL indolent B-NHL or relapsed/refractory MCL. The primary hypothesis is that MK-0683 will show efficacy in relapsed/refractory FL patients as measured by the Overall Response Rate.
