B-cell Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaExtranodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma of Mucosa-associated Lymphoid Tissue16 moreDrugs used in chemotherapy, such as CCI-779, work in different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. This phase II trial is studying how well CCI-779 works in treating patients with recurrent or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma or chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Cilengitide (EMD 121974) in Treating Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors or Lymphoma
AIDS-related Peripheral/Systemic LymphomaAIDS-related Primary CNS Lymphoma54 moreThis phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of EMD 121974 in treating patients with solid tumors or lymphoma. Cilengitide (EMD 121974) may stop the growth of cancer cells by stopping blood flow to the cancer
Bortezomib and Flavopiridol in Treating Patients With Recurrent or Refractory Indolent B-Cell Neoplasms...
Extranodal Marginal Zone Lymphoma of Mucosa-Associated Lymphoid TissueNodal Marginal Zone Lymphoma11 moreBortezomib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for their growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as flavopiridol, work in different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Bortezomib may increase the effectiveness of flavopiridol by making cancer cells more sensitive to the drug. Giving bortezomib together with flavopiridol may kill more cancer cells. This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of bortezomib and flavopiridol in treating patients with recurrent or refractory indolent B-cell neoplasms.
Alemtuzumab, Fludarabine Phosphate, and Low-Dose Total Body Irradiation Before Donor Stem Cell Transplantation...
Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia With 11q23 (MLL) AbnormalitiesAdult Acute Myeloid Leukemia With Del(5q)100 moreThis phase II trial studies the side effects and the best dose of alemtuzumab when given together with fludarabine phosphate and low-dose total body irradiation (TBI) and how well it works before donor stem cell transplant in treating patients with hematological malignancies. Giving chemotherapy and low-dose TBI before a donor peripheral blood stem cell transplant helps stop the growth of cancer cells. It may also stop the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells. Also, monoclonal antibodies, such as alemtuzumab, can find cancer cells and either kill them or deliver cancer-killing substances to them without harming normal cells. When the healthy stem cells from a donor are infused into the patient they may help the patient's bone marrow make stem cells, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can also make an immune response against the body's normal cells. Giving cyclosporine (CSP) and mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) after transplant may stop this from happening.
Bryostatin 1 Plus Vincristine in Treating Patients With Progressive or Relapsed Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma...
Extranodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma of Mucosa-associated Lymphoid TissueNodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma10 morePhase II trial to study the effectiveness of combining bryostatin 1 with vincristine in treating patients who have progressive or relapsed non-Hodgkin's lymphoma after autologous bone marrow transplantation or autologous stem cell transplantation. Drugs used in chemotherapy such as vincristine use different ways to stop cancer cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. Bryostatin 1 may help vincristine kill more cancer cells by making the cells more sensitive to the drug
Oblimersen Sodium and Rituximab in Treating Patients With Recurrent B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma...
Cutaneous B-cell Non-Hodgkin LymphomaExtranodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma of Mucosa-associated Lymphoid Tissue19 moreThe goal of this clinical research study is to learn if the combination of oblimersen sodium and rituximab can help to shrink or slow the growth of the tumor in patients with B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma who have not responded to earlier treatment. Oblimersen Sodium is an investigational drug. The safety of this combination treatment will also be studied
Primary Rituximab and Maintenance
Follicular LymphomaObjectives Primary objective: To evaluate in patients with advanced follicular lymphoma the benefit of maintenance therapy with rituximab after induction of response with chemotherapy plus rituximab in comparison with no maintenance therapy Secondary objective: To evaluate response rates, event driven survival endpoints (EFS, PFS, OS) and quality of life of four different chemotherapy regimens combined with rituximab, with or without maintenance with rituximab, for first line treatment of advanced stage follicular lymphoma. Study Design This is an international open-label, multicentre, randomized study with two treatment phases. In the induction phase patients have to respond to 1st line induction treatment in order to be eligible for randomization to the second phase of maintenance treatment or observation. After the maintenance period patients will be included in the follow up phase for 3 years.
Gemcitabine Hydrochloride, Carboplatin, Dexamethasone, and Rituximab in Treating Patients With Previously...
Adult Nasal Type Extranodal NK/T-cell LymphomaAnaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma29 moreThis pilot phase II trial studies the side effects and how well giving gemcitabine hydrochloride, carboplatin, dexamethasone, and rituximab together works in treating patients with previously treated lymphoid malignancies. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as gemcitabine hydrochloride, carboplatin, and dexamethasone, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) and giving monoclonal antibody therapy with chemotherapy may kill more cancer cells
Rituximab and Dexamethasone in Treating Patients With Low-Grade Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
Contiguous Stage II Grade 1 Follicular LymphomaContiguous Stage II Grade 2 Follicular Lymphoma21 moreThis phase II trial studies the side effects and how well giving rituximab and dexamethasone together works in treating patients with low-grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as dexamethasone, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving rituximab together with dexamethasone may kill more cancer cells

Acute Myeloid Leukemia/Transient Myeloproliferative DisorderAcute Undifferentiated Leukemia76 moreThis clinical trial studies fludarabine phosphate and total-body radiation followed by donor peripheral blood stem cell transplant and immunosuppression in treating patients with hematologic malignancies. When the healthy stem cells from a donor are infused into the patient they may help the patient's bone marrow make stem cells, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
