Adaptive Radiation for Abdominopelvic Metastases
Neoplasm - Soft Tissue Pelvis Malignant SecondaryMalignant Neoplasm of StomachSingle arm Phase I trial of adaptive stereotactic body radiation (SBRT) for abdominopelvic metastases. Adaptive SBRT will allow for escalation of the prescription dose and target coverage while maintaining grade 3+ toxicity no greater than 10%. Subjects with metastatic cancer to the abdomen or pelvis requiring local control or palliation will be enrolled.
Feasibility Study of Sentinel Navigation Surgery After Non-curative Endoscopic Resection
Sentinel Lymph NodeEarly Gastric CancerPurpose: To prove the feasibility of sentinel node navigation surgery (SNNS) in early gastric cancer patients with the risk of lymph node metastasis after endoscopic resection and preparation of multicenter phase 3 trial of stomach preserving surgery in these patients. Contents: The number of enrollment is 247 patients. The patients underwent endoscopic resection for early gastric cancer, and the tumor was defined to be out of indication for endoscopic resection pathologically. So, additional gastrectomy is recommended for them. The investigators will enroll patients who agree this study. After general anesthesia, Tc99m-Phytate with indocyanine green will be injected with endoscopy. Then sentinel basin will be detected using gamma probe and laparoscopic basin dissection will be done. Sentinel lymph node will be identify in back table dissection, and patients will undergo conventional gastrectomy. Detection rate and false negative rate will be evaluated by pathological review.
Laparoscopic Gastrectomy With D2 Lymphadenectomy Combined With Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy...
Gastric CancerThe goal of this clinical trial is to learn about Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy in the Treatment of Locally Advanced Gastric Cancer after Laparoscopic Gastrectomy with D2 Lymphadenectomy. The main question it aims to answer is: whether HIPEC can effectively improving the 5-year overall survival rate and decrease the peritoneal metastases rate of patients with advanced gastric cancer underwent Laparoscopic Gastrectomy with D2 Lymphadenectomy. Participants will be divided into two groups, Experimental group received laparoscopic (robotic) D2 surgery plus HIPEC2 times plus systemic chemotherapy 6~8 cycles; and Control group received laparoscopic (robotic) D2 surgery plus systemic chemotherapy 6~8 cycles.
Peritoneal Carcinomatosis Leveraging ctDNA Guided Treatment in GI Cancer Study (PERICLES Study)...
Appendix Carcinoma by AJCC V8 StageColorectal Carcinoma by AJCC V8 Stage5 moreThis clinical trial collects biospecimen samples to create a personalized ctDNA test to guide treatment for patients with gastrointestinal cancer with peritoneal carcinomatosis. Deoxyribonucleic acid, or DNA, is the material that carries all the information about how a living thing will work and function. Everyone is born with the same DNA in all our cells throughout our body. Sometimes, some of the cells in the body develop abnormalities in the DNA that cause those cells to grow abnormally and uncontrollably. Cancer occurs when there is abnormal and uncontrolled growth of cells. The DNA in cancer cells is therefore different from the DNA someone is born with. The Signatera ctDNA assay is a laboratory test that takes tumor (cancer) tissue and evaluates it for unique tumor DNA. This evaluation is used to create a report (otherwise known as an assay) personalized to each person's cancer. The personalized assay creates a personalized blood test to detect the level of abnormal DNA from the cancer that may be circulating in the body. Once this personalized blood assay is designed, it may be used to monitor a person's blood for the presence of ctDNA, which will indicate the presence or absence of cancer over time, even after treatment.
Clinical Study of SHR-1701 Plus Chemotherapy as Perioperative Treatment in Subjects With Gastric...
Perioperative Treatment in Subjects With Locally Advanced Resectable Gastric Cancer or Gastroesophageal Junction CancerThis is a multi-center phase II/III clinical study consisting of two stages: Stage I is a single-arm open-label phase II study to preliminarily explore the efficacy and safety of SHR-1701 plus S-1 and oxaliplatin mainly by the endpoint of pCR rate. Stage II is a randomized, double-blind, multi-center phase III study of SHR-1701 plus S-1 and oxaliplatin versus placebo plus S-1 and oxaliplatin as perioperative treatment in subjects with resectable GC or GEJC. A total of 846 treatment naïve subjects will be enrolled, and primary endpoint of this stage is Independent Review Committee (IRC)-assessed EFS.
Patient Reported Outcomes Study Using Electronic Monitoring System for Advanced or Metastatic Solid...
Breast CancerLung Cancer6 moreThis is a multicenter, open-label, randomized, controlled study to test the hypothesis that ePRO monitoring added to usual care helps prolong OS or maintain and improve HRQoL in patients with unresectable advanced cancers or metastatic/recurrent solid tumors receiving systemic drug therapy.
Randomized Controlled Trials on Laparoscopic No. 14v LNS Dissection
Stomach NeoplasmsThe purpose of this study is to explore the short-term, long-term and oncological outcomes of laparoscopic No. 14v lymph node dissection in advanced lower third gastric cancer.
Staging LaParoscopy to Assess Lymph NOde InvoLvement in Advanced GAstric Cancer
Gastric CancerLymph Node MetastasisStaging LaParscopy to Assess Lymph NOde InvoLvement in Advanced GAstric Cancer (POLA) study aims to investigate the safety and feasibility of ICG-guided SN retrieval in GC patients undergoing multimodal treatment. The pretreatment clinical variables potentially associated with the procedure will also be analyzed. To the best of our knowledge, the current study is the first to evaluate the role of ICG in SN biopsy in advanced GC patients undergoing multimodal treatment.
Tranexamic Acid During Upper GI Endoscopic Resection Procedures
Gastric PolypGastric Neoplasm2 moreEndoscopic resection of gastrointestinal lesions may prevent cancer. However, resection is associated with adverse events such as bleeding. Tranexamic acid (TXA) is a synthetic derivative of lysine that exerts antifibrinolytic effects and may prevent bleeding. The investigators aim to evaluate the effect of local TXA on preventing intraprocedural and postprocedural bleeding in patients undergoing endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) of upper gastrointestinal lesions.
Effect of Probiotic Supplements on Gastric Cancer Patients Receiving Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy
Gastric CancerNeoadjuvant ChemotherapyBackground: Surgery can significantly improve the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer. However, some patients are at a later stage at diagnosis and need to receive neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT). Previous studies have shown that NACT may lead to more postoperative complications. Probiotics have the potential to reduce postoperative complications and infections, but no large sample, multicentre, randomized clinical trials have been conducted in patients with gastric cancer receiving NACT. The aim of this multicentre randomized controlled trial was to investigate the effect of probiotics on postoperative infections and other short-term outcomes in patients with gastric cancer receiving NACT. Methods/design: This study is a prospective, multicentre RCT. This experiment will consist of two groups - an experimental group and a control group - randomly divided in a 1:1 ratio. The experimental group will receive perioperative probiotic supplement and that of the control group will receive blank control management. An estimated 318 patients will be enrolled. The main endpoint for comparison is postoperative infections between the two groups. The experimental group patients received probiotic capsules containing Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, and Enterococcus faecalis.
