A Study of the Efficacy and Safety of Imatinib Mesylate in Patients With Unresectable or Metastatic...

Unresectable or Metastatic Malignant Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST)

In the core study, participants with unresectable or metastatic gastrointestinal stromal tumors expressing c-kit were treated with either 400 mg or 600 mg imatinib mesylate for 3 years. The 10 year extension study allowed participants, who successfully completed the core study, to continue study treatment with imatinib mesylate provided they still benefited from treatment and did not demonstrate safety concerns as per the investigator's opinion.

Nitrocamptothecin in Treating Patients With Soft Tissue Sarcomas

Gastrointestinal Stromal TumorSarcoma1 more

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die. PURPOSE: Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of nitrocamptothecin in treating patients who have locally advanced or metastatic soft tissue sarcomas.

STI571 in Treating Patients With Recurrent or Refractory Soft Tissue Sarcoma

Endometrial CancerGastrointestinal Stromal Tumor3 more

RATIONALE: STI571 may interfere with the growth of cancer cells and may be an effective treatment for soft tissue sarcoma. PURPOSE: Phase I/II trial to study the effectiveness of STI571 in treating patients who have recurrent or refractory soft tissue sarcoma.

Stage I Testicular SeminomaStage I Testicular Nonseminomatous Germ Cell Tumor15 more

This is a multicenter, interventional, randomized study among adult patients recently diagnosed with a rare tumor (<12 months). The study will aim to compare compliance with the personalized post-treatment surveillance plan, established for each patient according to national guidelines, when the surveillance is conducted in person by a hospital-based physician (control arm) or remotely by a trained nurse (experimental arm).

Nivolumab With or Without Ipilimumab in Treating Patients With Metastatic Sarcoma That Cannot Be...

Locally Advanced Bone SarcomaLocally Advanced Dedifferentiated Liposarcoma19 more

This randomized phase II trial studies how well nivolumab with or without ipilimumab works in treating patients with sarcoma that has spread from the primary site to other parts of the body (metastatic) or cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. It is not yet known whether nivolumab works better with or without ipilimumab in treating patients with metastatic or unresectable sarcoma.

Phase Ib Study of SUnitinib Alternating With REgorafenib in Patients With Metastatic and/or Unresectable...

Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor

The purpose of this research study is to determine the safety and tolerability of sunitinib alternating with regorafenib in participants with advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumor GIST, if the standard approved therapies (imatinib, sunitinib and regorafenib) have failed to control the disease. Additionally, this study seeks to determine the highest dose that can be given safely for this combination of drugs.

Phase II Study of Regorafenib Continuous Dosing of Regorafenib in Patients With GISTs

Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GISTs)

Randomized, placebo-controlled, phase III study of regorafenib 160 mg once daily on intermittent dosing schedule of 3 weeks on treatment followed by 1 weeks off demonstrated the significant benefit of regorafenib in terms of PFS in patients with GISTs who had failed to both imatinib and sunitinib. However, there are concerns that tumors and tumor-related symptoms may be progressed during off treatment period. Investigators hypothesize that continuous dosing schedule of regorafenib might be feasible and effective to prevent disease flare on off-treatment period. Based on the results of previous dose escalation study for continuous regorafenib dosing, we investigate the 100 mg daily dose of regorafenib in patients with TKI-refractory GISTs.

A Study of CS3007 in Subjects With Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor

Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors

This study is an open-label, multicenter, phase I/II study to evaluate the safety, PK and clinical efficacy of avapritinib in Chinese subjects with unresectable or metastatic GIST. The study consists of two parts: dose escalation (phase I) and dose expansion (phase II).
