A Study of Abemaciclib (LY2835219) With Abiraterone in Men With Prostate Cancer That Has Spread...
Prostatic NeoplasmsNeoplasm Metastasis18 moreThe purpose of this study is to learn whether adding abemaciclib to abiraterone plus prednisone prolongs the time before prostate cancer gets worse. Participation may last approximately 60 months.
Fecal Microbiota Transplantation in Treating Immune-Checkpoint Inhibitor Induced-Diarrhea or Colitis...
ColitisDiarrhea7 moreThis trial studies how well fecal microbiota transplantation works in treating diarrhea or colitis (inflammation of the intestines) that is caused by certain types of medications (called immune-checkpoint inhibitors) in patients with genitourinary cancer. Fecal microbiota transplantation may effectively reduce the incidence of immune checkpoint inhibitor-induced diarrhea/colitis.
Pembrolizumab and Lenvatinib for Platinum- Sensitive Recurrent Ovarian Cancer
Ovarian NeoplasmsCarcinoma9 moreThis is a study of pembrolizumab (MK-3475, KEYTRUDA®) in combination with lenvatinib (E7080) for the treatment of platinum sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer. Participants will receive pembrolizumab and lenvatinib.
Adoptive Cell Therapy Using Cancer Specific CD8+ Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes in Adult Patients...
HNSCCMelanoma4 moreThe subject of this study is the adoptive transfer of selected autologous tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) after in vitro expansion for the treatment of solid tumor malignancies. The TIL selection process is based on evidence showing that CD8+ TIL which co-express both CD39 and CD103 harbor the bulk of tumor-reactivity and that the remaining CD8 TIL is mainly composed of non-tumor reactive bystander cells. All of the expanded TIL that are produced (1-40 billion are expected) will be delivered in the form of a cell suspension to the participants by intravenous infusion. It is proposed that these selected TIL will produce a more potent and efficacious treatment of late-stage cancer.
A Study of a Selective T Cell Receptor (TCR) Targeting, Bifunctional Antibody-fusion Molecule STAR0602...
Advanced Solid TumorsGenital Neoplasm11 moreThis is an open label, multicenter, phase 1/2 study to assess the safety/tolerability and preliminary clinical activity of STAR0602 as a single agent administered intravenously in participants with advanced solid tumors that are antigen-rich.
A Study Evaluating the Safety, Pharmacokinetics, and Clinical Effects of Intravenously Administered...
Advanced Solid TumorsCRPC8 moreThis is a Phase 1/2, open-label, multi-center, non-randomized, dose-escalation study to be conducted in two parts: the Dose Escalation Phase and the Dose Expansion Phase. The Dose Escalation Phase will determine the Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) and recommended Phase 2 dose(s) (RP2D) of PT-112 Injection and evaluate its safety and tolerability, and PK (pharmacokinetics). The Dose Escalation Phase is complete and no longer enrolling. The Dose Expansion Phase has two cohorts: one cohort for the study of PT-112 in patients with thymoma and thymic carcinoma (Cohort A), and one cohort for the study of PT-112 in metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) (Cohort D).
Personalized Treatment of Urogenital Cancers Depends on the Microbiome
Microbial DiseaseThis is a randomized controlled trial where patients undergoing surgical treatment for urogenital cancers will be randomized in a two arms study: surgical treatment + antibiotics OR surgical treatment + placebo.
Adapting the Tumor Board Model for Mental Illness and Cancer
CancerSevere Major Depression7 moreThis study examines the feasibility and acceptability of a virtual tumor board for cancer and mental illness for patients with serious mental illness and a new cancer diagnosis. The study also examines the impact on patient care, psychiatric symptoms, and clinician self-efficacy in managing this population.
High Resolution, 18F-PSMA PET-MRI Before Prostate Cancer HIFU or Radical Prostatectomy
Prostatic NeoplasmsGenital Neoplasms7 moreThis prospective trial aims to determine if enhanced prostate imaging using two novel imaging technologies (high resolution DWI and 18F-PSMA PET-MRI) will detect prostate cancers not seen on standard multiparametric prostate MRI in patients considered candidates for focal HIFU.
Using an End-of-life Conversation Game to Engage Patients With Cancer in Advance Care Planning
Breast CancerLung Cancer1 moreThe goal of this clinical trial is to explore feasibility, acceptability, and effectiveness of end-of-life conversation game "Hello" as a tool to help individuals with breast, lung, and/or genito-urinary cancers treated at Penn State Cancer Institute and their loved ones perform advance care planning. The main questions it aims to answer are: What modifications and/or adaptations are necessary to Hello for use in cancer populations? How do different delivery models compare for recruitment in terms of feasibility and efficiency? Participants will: Complete pre-game questionnaires Play the Hello game Complete post-game questionnaires Participate in a focus group
