SIMBRINZA® Suspension BID as an Adjunctive to Prostaglandin Analogue (PGA)
Open-Angle GlaucomaOcular HypertensionThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the additive intraocular pressure (IOP) lowering effect of brinzolamide 1%/brimonidine 0.2% (dosed twice per day (BID)) when added to a prostaglandin analogue (PGA) in subjects with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
An Open, Non-randomized Pilot Study on the Effect of Preservative Free Tafluprost (Saflutan® Augentropfen)...
Primary Open Angle GlaucomaOcular HypertensionIncreased intraocular pressure (IOP) has been identified as the most important risk factor for the development and the progression of glaucoma. Data from large interventional studies have shown that a decrease of IOP is associated with a reduced risk of progression of the disease. This underlines the importance of a potent and save IOP lowering therapy. The introduction of preservative free tafluprost offers a new treatment possibility using a potent topical prostaglandin analogue without the disadvantages of a co-administered preservative. The current study seeks to investigate the effect of an 8 week therapy with preservative free tafluprost on intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or primary open angle glaucoma having an IOP of 30 mmHg or more.
Comparing Safety and Efficacy of BOL-303259-X With Timolol Maleate in Subjects With Open-Angle Glaucoma...
Open-Angle GlaucomaOcular HypertensionIn participants with a diagnosis of open angle glaucoma (OAG) or ocular hypertension (OHT), the primary objective is to demonstrate that the mean IOP reduction after 3 months of treatment with BOL-303259-X once daily (QD) is non-inferior to timolol maleate 0.5% twice daily (BID). The secondary objective is to demonstrate the superiority of BOL-303259-X QD to timolol maleate 0.5% BID. This assessment will be performed if the non-inferiority of BOL-303259-X QD to timolol maleate 0.5% BID is determined. An open label safety phase will be conducted at the end of Visit 6 (3 months) where all participants will receive BOL-303259-X QD for an additional 9 months.
A Study Comparing The Efficacy, Safety And Tolerability Of Latanoprost 75, 100 And 125 ug/ml To...
Primary Open Angle GlaucomaOcular HypertensionThe primary objective of this study was to compare the change in intraocular pressure (IOP) of three different doses of latanoprost (75, 100 and 125 ug/ml) to that of the marketed 50 ug/ml dose, in a dose ranging study.
DE-111 Against Timolol Ophthalmic Solution 0.5%
Open Angle GlaucomaOcular HypertensionDE-111 ophthalmic solution will be evaluated for superiority in comparison with Timolol ophthalmic solution 0.5%, in IOP(intraocular pressure ) -lowering effect in primary open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension patients, in a multicenter, randomized, double-masked, parallel-group comparison study. Safety will be compared and evaluated as well.
Evaluation of the XEN Implant in Moderate Primary Open Angle Glaucoma (POAG) Participants
Primary Open Angle GlaucomaThe objective of this study was to evaluate the AqueSys XEN Implant [XEN® Gel Stent (XEN45 Implant)] for the treatment of moderate primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) participants when medications have failed to control intraocular pressure (IOP). Effectiveness was evaluated by comparing medicated preoperative IOP to postoperative values. Additionally, the number of topical IOP-lowering medications at screening were compared to the number of IOP-lowering medications at 1 year.
Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty After Failed Phacoemulsification With Eximer Laser Trabeculectomy...
Open Angle GlaucomaOcular Hypertension1 moreThe aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of selective laser trabeculoplasty after a prior failed phacoemulsification and Eximer Laser Trabeculectomy.
Minimally Invasive Micro Sclerostomy First in Man Safety and Preliminary Performance Study
Primary Open Angle GlaucomaPigmentary Glaucoma1 moreThe study objective is to demonstrate the safety of Minimally Invasive Micro Sclerostomy (MIMS) device for lowering elevated IOP in patients diagnosed with glaucoma.
Efficacy of Changing to TRAVATAN® From Prior Therapy
Open-angle GlaucomaOcular HypertensionThe purpose of this study was to assess the efficacy and tolerability of TRAVATAN® solution without BAK (benzalkonium chloride) after changing from prior latanoprost 0.005% ophthalmic solution monotherapy in subjects with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension due to tolerability issues.
An Open-Label Extension Study to Evaluate the Safety of the ForSight VISION5 Product
Primary Open-Angle GlaucomaOcular HypertensionThis study evaluates the long-term (13-months) safety of the Bimatoprost Ocular Insert in participants with Glaucoma or Ocular Hypertension who completed study FSV5-002. All participants received Bimatoprost Ocular Insert and wore it for approximately 7 months, then had the Insert removed and a new insert placed for another 6 months.
