A Phase IIa Study to Assess the Tolerability, Safety, and Efficacy of AZD4017 for Raised Intra-ocular...
Raised Intraocular PressureThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of systemically administered AZD4017, compared with placebo, over a 28-day period in patients with raised intra-ocular pressure (IOP).
Philadelphia Telemedicine Glaucoma Detection and Follow-Up Study
GlaucomaGlaucoma Suspect11 moreThe goal is to conduct a 5-year prospective, randomized controlled trial to test an innovative, community-based intervention using posterior and anterior fundus photography of the optic nerve and macula and intraocular eye pressure measurements to improve access and utilization of eye care to detect, treat, and manage high-risk patients with previously undiagnosed glaucoma and other eye diseases. Research shows that subject failure to attend follow-up eye care appointments diminishes any previous benefits of community screenings for glaucoma. Greater adherence to follow-up visits can reduce glaucomatous blindness.
Study Comparing the Effects of Latanoprostene Bunod and Timolol on Retinal Blood Vessel Density...
OAG - Open-Angle GlaucomaOHT - Ocular HypertensionThe purpose of this research study is to compare the effect of Latanoprostene Bunod and Timolol on eye pressure and blood vessels of the back of the eye.
The Effect of a Scleral Lens on the Anterior Chamber Depth and Minimum Rim Width
Ocular HypertensionThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the use of two instruments to measure changes in two ocular structures: 1) the anterior chamber depth (ACD) - measured using low coherence optical biometry, and 2) minimum rim width of the optic nerve head (MRW) - measured using optical coherence tomography. Changes in these ocular structures indicate fluctuations in intraocular pressure (IOP) and will be measured during scleral contact lens (SGP) wear to determine if SGP wear influences IOP. We hypothesize that a scleral lens increases the intraocular pressure (IOP) during active wear and that the ACD and MRW will also change.
A Phase 1, Open-Label Study of Latanoprost Acid Plasma Concentrations in Pediatric and Adult Glaucoma...
GlaucomaOcular HypertensionTo evaluate the steady-state systemic plasma concentrations of latanoprost acid following administration of latanoprost 0.005% (1.5 ug) in pediatric and adult subjects with glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Comparison of Intraocular Pressure (IOP)-Lowering Efficacy and Safety of AZORGA® Ophthalmic Suspension...
Open-Angle GlaucomaOcular HypertensionThe purpose of this study is to evaluate AZORGA® Ophthalmic Suspension compared to COSOPT® Ophthalmic Solution for IOP-lowering efficacy in subjects with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Inhaled Corticosteroids: Effect on Intraocular Pressure in Patients With Controlled Glaucoma
Ocular HypertensionGlaucoma1 moreThe purpose of this study is to determine whether a commonly prescribed orally inhaled corticosteroid treatment will induce a clinically meaningful elevation in intraocular pressure, when administered to patients with ocular hypertension (OHT) or open-angle glaucoma (OAG). Based on the response to high-dose corticosteroids, this patient group is more likely than the normal population to demonstrate this adverse effect.
Bioequivalence Study With Clinical Endpoint Comparing Brinzolamide 1% Ophthalmic Suspension to Azopt®...
GlaucomaThis is a randomized, double blind, two-arm, parallel group, active controlled bioequivalence study, at multiple clinical trial sites designed to demonstrate bioequivalence of Brinzolamide 1% ophthalmic suspension (manufactured by Indoco Remedies Ltd. for Watson Pharma Pvt Ltd.), to Brinzolamide (Azopt®) 1% ophthalmic suspension of Alcon Laboratories, Inc. in the treatment of chronic open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension in both eyes.
Exploratory Study Comparing Signs and Symptoms in Patients With Ocular Hypertension or Glaucoma...
Dry Eye DiseaseThe purpose of this study is to determine if there is a difference in the ocular signs and symptoms of subjects' eyes using Xalatan® 0.005% versus Travatan Z® 0.004% based on the outcome of subject assessment and clinical assessment in patients with Ocular Hypertension or Glaucoma with mild to moderate dry eye at baseline in accordance with the Oxford Grading Scale.
