A Pilot Study to Explore the Role of Gut Flora in Celiac Disease
Celiac DiseaseThis study seeks to correlate microbiome sequencing data with information provided by patients and their medical records regarding Celiac Disease.
A Blood Based Diagnostic Test for Coeliac Disease
Coeliac DiseaseNon Coeliac Gluten SensitivityPersons with coeliac disease treated with a gluten free diet will be asked to give blood for a new diagnostic blood test. In this test investigators will use multimerized HLA bound to different gliadin-peptides (tetramer) and with the help of a flow-cytometer identify (along with other relevant T-cell-markers) gluten specific T-cells. Investigators believe that these cells will be present in persons with coeliac disease regardless of gluten-intake. Investigators will compare their findings with two control groups; Persons on a gluten free diet where celiac disease is excluded (gluten sensitive group) and persons on a gluten containing diet (healthy control group). In the initial and main study investigators will look at HLA DQ2.5 individuals, which comprise >90% of all persons with coeliac disease.
Additional Autoimmune Diseases With Type 1 Diabetes in Pediatrics at Diabetes Diagnosis and During...
Type 1 DiabetesAutoimmune Diseases5 moreThis study aims to describe the prevalence of additional autoimmune diseases and their specific antibodies at type 1 diabetes (T1D) diagnosis, and their incidence rate during follow-up, for children and adolescents. It also aims to describe the characteristics of the pediatric cohort followed since 2014 for type 1 diabetes by one of France's centers of reference for paediatric diabetes.
Impact of Gluten Contamination in Celiac Patients Clinically Responsive and Unresponsive to the...
Celiac DiseaseThe primary aim of the study is to detect the presence of gluten immunogenic peptides (GIP) in urine samples from celiac patients on a gluten-free diet clinically responsive and non-responsive to dietary treatment and from suspected celiac patients already on a gluten-free diet.
