Graves disease in ulcerative colitis: The connection between Graves disease and Inflammatory bowel disease is well known in the literature, but thyroid disorders have not been considered extra-intestinal manifestations of ulcerative colitis. In most cases, the diagnosis of thyroid disease has preceded that of Inflammatory bowel disease. Early studies have suggested a relationship between thyroid abnormalities and ulcerative colitis . But it is still uncertain whether the coexistence of Grave's and ulcerative colitis diseases is due to a specific reason or a coincidence.

Application of Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) in Graves' Disease

Graves' Disease

Graves' disease is characterized by thyrotoxicosis, goiter, ophthalmopathy and dermopathy. Pathogenesis involves autoimmune process. The investigators think temperatures of the area involved in the inflammation may change. Thus the investigators plan to take temperature pictures of Graves' patients using digital infrared thermal imaging system and observe the change.

This study aims to describe the prevalence of additional autoimmune diseases and their specific antibodies at type 1 diabetes (T1D) diagnosis, and their incidence rate during follow-up, for children and adolescents. It also aims to describe the characteristics of the pediatric cohort followed since 2014 for type 1 diabetes by one of France's centers of reference for paediatric diabetes.
