A 38 week dosing trial of lonapegsomatropin, a long-acting growth hormone product, administered once-a-week versus placebo-control. A daily somatropin product arm is also included to assist clinical judgement on the trial results. Approximately 240 adults (males and females) with growth hormone deficiency will be included. Randomization will occur in a 1:1:1 ratio (lonapegsomatropin : placebo : daily somatropin product). This is a global trial that will be conducted in, but not limited to, the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Growth Hormone Deficiency in Children

The study compares 2 medicines for children who do not have enough hormone to grow: somapacitan given once a week (a new medicine) and Norditropin® given once a day (the medicine doctors can already prescribe). Researchers will test to see how well somapacitan works. The study will also test if somapacitan is safe. Participants will either get somapacitan or Norditropin® - which treatment participants get, is decided by chance. Both participants and the study doctor will know which treatment participants get. The study will last for 4 years. Participants will attend 19 clinic visits and have 1 phone call with the study doctor.

The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the size and derivational profile of the extracellular vescicles (EV) generated in children with GH deficiency, undergoing hormone replacement therapy with rhGH. Secondary objectives is to correlate vesiculogenesis with auxometric and biochemical parameters used in clinical-endocrine practice in the evaluation of short stature. The results of the study will provide useful information to more rationally set up the clinical and biochemical follow-up of hormone replacement therapy with rhGH, as well as to understand the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the multi-systemic action of GH, the most important anabolic hormone of the human organism.

Growth Hormone Deficiency in Mild Traumatic Brain Injury

The goal of this randomized control trial is to test if growth hormone therapy is a safe and effective treatment for patients suffering from growth hormone deficiency and persistent post-concussion symptoms. The main questions it aims to answer are: Is growth hormone therapy effective at mitigating persisting post-concussion symptoms in patients with growth hormone deficiency? Is it feasible to conduct a larger trial to examine efficacy of growth hormone therapy in patients with persistent post-concussion symptoms and growth hormone deficiency? Participants will be asked to complete an initial assessment for study inclusion and to complete clinical outcome questionnaires. If a participant meets study criteria they will be randomized to receive either growth hormone therapy (provided by Pfizer) or a placebo (provided by Pfizer). Participants will be instructed on how to self-administer their assigned drug daily for three months. Monthly follow-up visits will include a blood draw to measure a biomarker and clinical outcome questionnaires. At the final follow-up visit after three months, participants will learn what group they were assigned and given the option to complete the growth hormone therapy if they were originally assigned to the placebo group. Researchers will compare the growth hormone therapy group to the placebo group to identify any potential differences in outcomes.

This is a placebo-controlled, double-blind, parallel, Randomized Controlled Trial of 6 months of Growth Hormone Replacement Therapy (GHRT) vs. placebo in Veterans with a history of Gulf War Illness (GWI) and Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency (AGHD). The investigators hypothesize that GHRT will reduce truncal fat mass percentage measured by DEXA (primary outcome). This could provide those veterans with GWI and AGHD a novel therapeutic option (GHRT). The study will also examine the feasibility and safety of a larger efficacy trial.

Growth Hormone Deficiency

Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency (AGHD) is a recognized clinical entity but several barriers concerning patient-clinician communication, inadequate patients' awareness of the disease, low perceived benefit of replacement therapy and poor compliance still remains. The overall goal of the study is to improve AGHD management through a Smartphone app (MAGHD App: Manage Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency) integrated with a software framework able to merge patients daily data on physical activity, quality of life (QoL), and well-being with clinical data collected in institutional databases. The target population consists of 100 patients with a previous diagnosis of AGHD, whether in treatment with growth hormone or not. In a prospective 24 months study, MAGHD App will be developed and connected to MAGHD Framework. This system will allow to integrate: 1) Physical Activity Data collected by wearable devices, 2) Patient Related Outcomes Data, periodically inserted by the patients through MAGHD App in response to questions extrapolated from validated questionnaires, 3) HCP Data registered in clinical databases and including medical history, biochemical and radiological examination. Data will converge in MAGHD Framework where they will be analyzed and used to create reports visible to patients (in MAGHD App) and clinicians (by a monitoring dashboard). The results are expected to positively influence AGHD management by involving patients in care process and giving clinicians a useful tool for clinical practice.

Post-Marketing Surveillance (Special Use-results Surveillance on Long-term Use) With Sogroya®

Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency

Participants are invited to take part in this study because they have AGHD (only severe case). The purpose of this study is to assess long term safety and effectiveness of Sogroya® in patients with AGHD (only severe case) under normal clinical practice condition in Japan. Participants will get Sogroya® as prescribed by the study doctor. Participants will be in the study for about 2 to 5 years depending on when they take part in the study. Participants will be asked to fill in the quality of life questionnaires.
