GAND-emesis is a multinational, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study to investigate the efficacy and tolerability of a neurokinin1 receptor antagonist (fosaprepitant dimeglumine) in combination with an antiemetic (anti-nausea-and-vomiting) control regimen (palonosetron and dexamethasone) in patients with a gynaecological cancer diagnosis, who are scheduled to receive radiotherapy and weekly chemotherapy. The study aims at investigating if a three-drug antiemetic regimen is superior to a two-drug regimen (standard treatment) in preventing nausea and vomiting in patients receiving radiotherapy and weekly chemotherapy. A pilot study demonstrated that approximately 50% of patients will experience nausea and vomiting when offered a two-drug antiemetic regimen, and it is expected that addition of a third drug (a neurokinin1 receptor antagonist) can increase the proportion of patients with no vomiting in the course of combined chemo-radiotherapy.

This is a randomized controlled prospective study on the use of therapeutic touch in patients diagnosed with gynecological cancer. The patients will be randomized into three groups: control group (will not receive any interventions with therapeutic touch), placebo group (will receive simulated therapeutic touch intervention by individual not knowing this technique) and treatment group(will receive therapeutic touch intervention by a trained therapeutic touch therapist). Two different quality of life questionnaires will be applied (before and after treatment). Levels of cortisol, salivary IgA, hematological indices and telomerase activity before and after the use of therapeutic touch will be compared between groups.

Studies evaluating the effectiveness of continuous wound infusion (CWI) to manage postoperative pain following laparoscopy are markedly lacking. Especially, there was no study comparing CWI and placebo in treating gynecologic laparoscopy. Therefore, the investigators conducted this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to investigate whether CWI of local anesthetics was an effective strategy for enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS), compared with placebo in patients undergoing benign gynecologic laparoscopy.

Niraparib is an oral, potent and highly selective PARP1/2 inhibitor. It can be used as a single drug in HRD positive ovarian cancer patients for multi-line therapy. Bevacizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that inhibits tumor angiogenesis and is also recommended for the treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer. Clinical studies showed that niraparib combined with bevacizumab could significantly prolong progression free survival of platinum sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer. We intend to conduct a single-arm, prospective, open-label, phase II study to observe the efficacy and safety of niraparib combined with bevacizumab in the treatment of FIGO III/IV platinum refractory/resistant ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer and primary peritoneal cancer. The results are expected to provide more effective and precise treatment for platinum resistant recurrent/refractory ovarian cancer patients.
