Long-term Follow-up Study of Male Adults With Hemophilia B Previously Treated With Etranacogene...
Hemophilia BThe primary purpose of this study is to assess the long-term safety in male adults with hemophilia B who were treated with CSL222 in studies CSL222_2001 (NCT03489291) or CSL222_3001 (NCT03569891).
Adverse Event Data Collection From External Registries on Nonacog Beta Pegol
Haemophilia BThe purpose of this study is to collect data on adverse events from third party registries that include information about adverse events from patients with haemophilia B treated with nonacog beta pegol. The third party registries include PedNet Haemophilia Registry (PedNet) and the European Haemophilia Safety Surveillance System (EUHASS). Data from national and international registries in countries where nonacog beta pegol has been approved and marketed could be included in the data collection.
Post-marketing Surveillance (Use Result Surveillance) With Refixia®
Haemophilia BThe participants are invited to take part in this study because they have Haemophilia B. The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and effectiveness of Refixia® about long-term routine use in patients with Haemophilia B. The participants will get Refixia® as prescribed to them by their study doctor. The study will last up to Sep 2025 for the participant. The participants may be asked to fill in the quality of life questionnaires (if they are above age of 15). The blood samples taken from the participants as part of routine clinical practice will also be used to investigate the safety for the long-term use of Refixia®.
A Study Following Males With Haemophilia B on Prophylaxis With Refixia/REBINYN
Haemophilia BThis study will collect information on side effects and how well Refixia/REBINYN works during long-term treatment (prophylaxis) in males with haemophilia B. While taking part in this study, participants will receive the same treatment as given to them by their study doctor. All visits at the clinic are done in the same way as the participants are used to. During visits at the clinic, participants might be asked for some relevant tests if considered useful by their study doctor. During the visits, the participants study doctor might ask if the participants had any side effects since their last study visit. The participants will be asked to note down the number of bleeds and the treatment of their bleeds as well as their regular prophylaxis. During the visits to the clinic, the participants will be asked to answer some questionnaires about their quality of life and their ability to be physically active. The participant's participation in the study will last for 4-9 years, depending on when they join the study. Participants are free to leave the study at any time and for any reason. This will not affect their current and future medical care.
Needs Assessment of Knowledge, Beliefs, and Attitudes of Patients With Hemophilia B About Gene Therapy...
Gene TherapyHemophilia BGene therapy is a paradigm-shifting treatment for hemophilia B patients, particularly in resource-limited countries where factor availability remains low. Transparent and culturally sensitive communication around gene therapy is vital to the success of a high-quality consenting process. Current literature on knowledge, beliefs and attitudes about gene therapy in resource-limited countries is inadequate. In addition, few educational resources to explain basic gene therapy concepts exist in languages other than English. This study aims to address these gaps in knowledge and aid for the development of educational resources to assist the informed consent processes for gene therapy in resource-limited countries. Primary Objective: To assess baseline knowledge, beliefs, and attitudes about gene therapy held by hemophilia B patients globally Secondary Objectives: To explore healthcare workers' (i.e., physicians, nurses, social workers, educators/academic coordinators) perspectives regarding the education needs of hemophilia B patients globally To explore healthcare workers beliefs and attitudes about gene therapy To identify preferences of patients with hemophilia B and their healthcare workers on how/by what method or pathway educational content should be provided.
Gaining Insight Into the Complexity of Pain in Patients With Haemophilia
Hemophilia AHemophilia BJoint pain has been reported as a major problem in people with haemophilia (PwH). Therefore, haemophilia in adults seems clinically more related to a musculoskeletal disorder than a bleeding disorder, with many patients reporting a pain intensity exceeding 6/10 on a visual analogue scale. However, although the complexity of joint pain has been studied in chronic joint pain conditions such as low back pain, osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, until present only very limited research has been done on joint pain within PwH. Therefore, exploring the underlying mechanisms and the functional implications of this intense joint pain is urgently needed. As such, the main aim of the current prospective observational study is to gain more insights in joint pain in PwH enabling us to move towards adequate pain management in PwH.
German Pediatric Hemophilia Research Database
Hemophilia AHemophilia B2 moreThe German Pediatric Hemophilia Research Database will collect data on the prophylactic and therapeutic use of factor concentrates, complications, outcome measures (joint scores, QoL) and living circumstances in newly diagnosed children with hemophilia.
National Longitudinal Cohort of Hematological Diseases
Multiple MyelomaMyeloma21 moreBackground Hematological diseases are disorders of the blood and hematopoietic organs. The current hematological cohorts are mostly based on single-center or multi-center cases, or cohorts with limited sample size in China. There is a lack of comprehensive and large-scale prospective cohort studies in hematology. The purpose of this study is to analyze the incidence and risk factors of major blood diseases, the treatment methods, prognosis and medical expenses of these patients in China. Method The study will include patients diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, multiple myeloma, hemophilia, aplastic anemia, leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, lymphoma, bleeding disorders or received bone marrow transplantation in the investigating hospitals from January 1, 2020, and collect basic information, diagnostic and treatment information, as well as medical expense information from medical records. In its current form, the NICHE registry incorporates historical data (collected from 2000) and is systematically collecting prospective data in two phases with broadening reach. The study will use questionnaire to measure the exposure of patients, and prospectively follow-up to collect the prognosis information.
Hemophilia Non-Interventional Study Prior to SerpinPC Intervention (PRESent-5)
Hemophilia AHemophilia BThe primary objective of this study is to obtain prospective baseline documentation of annualized bleeding rates (ABRs) and treatment under standard-of-care (SOC) therapy among participants with hemophilia A or B. Participants in the study may be eligible to enroll in future planned interventional studies to be conducted by Sponsor.
Study of Coagulation Factor VIIa Marzeptacog Alfa (Activated) in Subjects With Hemophilia A or B...
Hemophilia A With InhibitorHemophilia B With InhibitorThe purpose of the trial is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of MarzAA for on-demand treatment and control of bleeding episodes in hemophilia A or B patients with inhibitors compared with their standard of care (SOC).
