Effect of Intravenous Metoprolol Combining RIC on Myocardial Protection in STEMI Patients
Anterior Myocardial InfarctionHeart FailureThe main purpose of this study is to compare the myocardial protection effect of intravenous metoprolol combined with remote ischemic conditioning (RIC) and single treatment before reperfusion in Chinese patients with anterior STEMI. This study sought to find possible strategies to further improve myocardial protection in Chinese patients with anterior STEMI.
Disrupt CAD III With the Shockwave Coronary IVL System
Coronary Artery DiseaseMyocardial InfarctionThe study design is a prospective, multicenter, single-arm, global IDE study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Shockwave Medical Coronary Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) System in de novo, calcified, stenotic coronary arteries prior to stenting. Disrupt CAD III is being conducted as a staged pivotal study.
Platelet Inhibition With Ticagrelor 60 mg Versus Ticagrelor 90 mg in Elderly Patients With ACS
Acute Coronary SyndromeSTEMI3 moreElderly individuals are increasingly represented among patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) with aspirin and an oral P2Y12 receptor inhibitor has an established role in the prevention of atherothrombotic events in ACS setting. However, DAPT in older patients is challenged by a concurrent heightened risk of ischemia and bleeding. Although guidelines recommend DAPT with aspirin and ticagrelor for elderly patients with ACS, clopidogrel, a less potent antiplatelet agent, continues to be used in more than one third of ACS patients with elderly status being the strongest predictor of undertreatment. A lower dose of ticagrelor may represent an alternative to the standard dose by conferring a similar efficacy and, potentially, a better safety profile. Our prospective, randomized, double-blind, crossover trial will test the hypothesis that a lower dose of ticagrelor provides similar antiplatelet effects compared with a standard dose among elderly patients with ACS. The main aim of the trial is to determine the pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic profile of ticagrelor 60 mg twice daily versus ticagrelor 90 mg twice daily among elderly patients with ACS undergoing PCI. This will be a prospective, randomized (1:1 ratio), non-inferiority, open-label, crossover trial to evaluate the level of platelet inhibition achieved with a low-dose of ticagrelor (60 mg twice daily) versus a standard dose of ticagrelor (90 mg twice daily) among elderly patients with ACS undergoing PCI.

Acute Myocardial InfarctionTo evaluate the protective effect of IPC on the myocardial microcirculation response through IMR and the predictive value of IMR on the degree of myocardial reperfusion and the prognosis of patients.
Early Prediction of ICD Candidacy After Anterior Myocardial Infarction
Anterior MIDespite the advances of pharmacologic and interventional therapies, sudden (or arrhythmic) cardiac death remains very high in the early weeks-to-months after an acute myocardial infarction (MI).The majority of cardiac arrests occur in patients who have large infarctions resulting in extensive myocardial damage, which is translated into lower left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). Hence, low LVEF remains -to the current time- the most robust predictor for post MI sudden (and presumably arrhythmic) death; and is the determinant for implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) candidacy for primary prevention as per clinical practice guidelines.ICD significantly and effectively reduced ventricular arrhythmia (VA)-mediated cardiac deaths among these patients.
ASSessing the Effect of Anti-IL-6 Treatment in Myocardial Infarction: The ASSAIL-MI Trial
Coronary DiseaseMyocardial InfarctionThe main goal of this study is to evaluate the ability of a single administration of tocilizumab to reduce myocardial damage in patients presenting with an acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Secondary objectives are to assess the impact of treatment on: (i) final infarct size, (ii) left ventricular size and function, (iii) inflammation, (iv) extracellular matrix remodeling, (v) lipid parameters, (vi) platelet activation and additional pro- and anti-thrombotic parameters, and (vii) study drug safety and tolerability.

Acute ST Segment Elevation Myocardial InfarctionThe aim of the study is to demonstrate the safety and efficacy of the TCD-10023 (Ultimaster) sirolimus eluting stent in patients with acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), by proving superiority with respect to in-stent late loss at 6 months to the Kaname bare metal stent and non-inferiority with respect to Target Vessel Failure (TVF) at 12 months.
The Efficacy and Safety of rhTNK-tPA in Comparison With Alteplase(Rt-PA) as Fibrinolytic Therapy...
Acute ST Elevation Myocardial InfarctionThis study is aiming to test the hypothesis that efficacy of rhTNK-tPA was not inferior to rt-PA with respect to the 30-day MACCE rates after fibrinolytic therapy for STEMI patients. It is a multicenter, randomized, open, parallel, active-controlled, non-inferiority trial.
Safety and Feasibility of Intracoronary Hypothermia in Acute Myocardial Infarction
Myocardial InfarctionHypothermia may reduce infarct size in patients with acute myocardial infarction if provided before reperfusion. Human studies using systemic cooling methods failed to show a reduction in infarction size. The use of selective intracoronary hypothermia may overcome the problems of systemic cooling. The hypothesis of this study is that in patients with acute myocardial infarction, the induction of intracoronary hypothermia is safe and feasible.

Anterior Wall Acute Myocardial InfarctionThe primary objective of the study is to collect confirmatory data supporting the safety and effectiveness of SSO2 Therapy in treatment of anterior acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients who have undergone successful percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with stenting within six hours of experiencing AMI symptoms.
