Respiratory Muscle Function in Heart Failure

Heart FailureDiastolic

This study is being done because investigators are trying to determine how respiratory muscle and lung function influence the exercise responses in heart failure and healthy participants. Further, the heart failure patients will participate in an intervention to improve their respiratory muscle function to determine if this improves exercise capacity.

Post Approval Study (PAS) of the OPTIMIZER Smart and CCM Therapy

Heart Failure

The OPTIMIZER Smart Post-Approval Study is a prospective, multi-center, non-randomized, single arm open label study of 620 subjects receiving an OPTIMIZER implant as standard of care. Patients to be included will have NYHA functional class III symptoms and a left ventricular ejection fraction of 25-45%

IPS Differentiated Cardiomyocytes Vein Transplantation for Chronic Heart Failure

Chronic Heart Failure

Based on the safety evaluation of primates, the best cell transplantation scheme was integrated. One patient with CHF caused by coronary heart disease, one patient with CHF caused by dilatation and one patient with CHF caused by Keshan disease were selected and treated with autologous iPS differentiated cardiomyocyte intravenous transplantation. The safety evaluation of human body was completed and combined with subjective and objective indexes respectively. Structural and functional indicators were used to evaluate the therapeutic effect of cell transplantation. The results of animal experiments confirmed the safety and effectiveness of intravenous myocardial cell transplantation, and clarified its possible mechanism.

Personalized Therapy Study - Attain Stability Quad Post-Approval Study

Heart Failure

The purpose of this Post-Approval Study (PAS) is to evaluate the long-term performance of the Model 4798 Left Ventricular (LV) lead in a real-world patient population. Patients will be followed for the duration of the PAS. This study is required by FDA as a condition of approval of the Model 4798 LV lead and is integrated within the Product Surveillance Registry (PSR).

Heart Failure-USB: Prediction and Progression

Acute Heart FailureAcute Coronary Syndrome1 more

This retrospective cohort study is to identify triggers of heart failure (HF) development and drivers of HF progression as well as the underlying cardiac disease (phenotype) to identify patients at risk and predict the clinical course of the disease. Data of patients who were hospitalized during the years 2010-2023 with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and/ or with acute heart failure (AHF) will be collected and analyzed. In a subgroup cohort efficacy and safety of digoxin in patients with acute heart failure triggered by tachyarrhythmia will be evaluated.

Ambulatory Blood Pressure in HFPEF Outcomes Global Registry

Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection FractionArterial Hypertension2 more

Heart failure and preserved ejection fraction (HFPEF) is a disease with increasing prevalence world wide. Due to its etiological and prognostic relationship with hypertension, it is highly interesting to know the characteristics and influence of Blood pressure levels and of the hemodynamic biomarkers, measured by Ambulatory Blood Pressure measurement in the outcome of patients with (HF-PEF), defined by the risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality (hospital re-admissions, emergency room visits, functional decline and mortality). The investigators consider other factors such as Frailty, comorbidities, and the baseline functional capacity to asses the prognostic value.

Registry for Longitudinal Mortality and Therapy in Patients With Heart Failure

Heart Failure

The purpose of this registry is to compile a large clinical database on the medical management of patients hospitalized with acute heart failure, using information collected from hospitals across China.

Biomechanical Precision Medicine Registry for Patients With and Without Heart Failure

Heart Failure With Normal Ejection FractionHeart Failure With Reduced Ejection Fraction4 more

In this single-center, longitudinal observational study, we will comprehensively examine clinical characteristics, proteomic, metabolomic, genomic and imaging data to better understand how different heart failure types may develop and progress over time. We will evaluate distinct sub-groups of heart failure (also known as heart failure phenotypes) and cardiomyopathies including amyloidosis with an ultimate goal of bringing the right medications and therapy to the right patients to optimize benefit and minimized side effects, an effort to improve precision medicine in heart failure.
