CRUSH STUDY: Calculating Readmission Risk by Ultrasound for Heart Failure Failure Study
Heart FailureThis is a study to determine if two ultrasound measures (Corrected Flow Time and B-Lines) can predict patients at higher risk of readmission within 30 days of hospital discharge for decompensated heart failure.
Assessments of Sarcopenia Prevalence in Chronic Heart Failure Patients and in Subjects Before TAVI...
SarcopeniaChronic Heart FailureThe main objective was to assess the prevalence of sarcopenia in chronic heart failure patients and in patients before the trans aortic valvular implantation. The loss of muscle mass in chronic heart failure patients is a prognostic factor for sarcopenia. The purpose was to identify in these patients signs of sarcopenia for a better management.
Global Electrical Heterogeneity and Clinical Outcomes
Heart FailureImplantable Defibrillator User1 moreThis retrospective multicenter cohort will validate an independent association of electrocardiographic (ECG) global electrical heterogeneity (GEH) measures with sustained ventricular tachyarrhythmias and appropriate ICD therapies in systolic heart failure patients with primary prevention ICD, and will validate and re-calibrate GEH ECG risk score for prediction of sustained ventricular tachyarrhythmias and appropriate ICD therapies in systolic heart failure patients with primary prevention ICD.
Heart Sounds Registry
Heart Failure; With DecompensationTo conduct a prospective, observational study to evaluate the non-interventional feasibility of using heart sounds measurements recorded by the LifeVest® Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator (WCD) for monitoring clinical evidence of heart failure decompensation.
Comparability of Hemodynamic Parameters Measured by Non-invasive Echocardiography and by Right Heart...
Heart FailureThis study is to compare transthoracic Echocardiography TTE to the gold standard Right Heart Catheterization in Terms of accuracy to measure hemodynamic parameters.
Determination of Risk Factors of Ventricular Arrhythmias (VAs) After Implantation of Continuous...
Severe Cardiac InsufficiencyDetermination of risk factors of ventricular arrhythmias (VAs) after implantation of continuous flow left ventricular assist device in order to characterize which patient requires ICD implantation in primary prevention.
Bioimpedance Spectroscopy Compared to CardioMEMS™
NYHA Class III Heart FailureComparison of changes in diastolic pulmonary artery pressure as measured by CardioMEMS™ to impedance parameters as measured by ImpediMed's BIS technology.
Potentially Avoidable Hospitalisation in France
Heart FailureCOPD1 morePotentially Avoidable Hospitalizations (Pah) Are Studied As An Indirect Measure Of Access To Primary Care And Of The Interface Between Primary And Secondary Care. A Previous Work Unveils Considerable Geographic Variation In The Rate Of Pah In France And Suggest That Primary Care Organization Might Play A Role In This Variation. However, A Limitation Of This Work Lies In The Lack Of Data On Actual Primary Care Utilization. The Aim Of This Study Is To Analyze The Role Of Primary Care In The Variation Of Potentially Avoidable Hospitalizations At the Zip Code Level, In The French Region Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées. The investigator will implement An Ecological Approach In Which The Geographic Variation In The Rate Of Pah Is Analyzed In The French Region Lrmp, Year 2014. Age- And Sex-Adjusted Rate Of Pah By Zip Codes (N=612) Is Modeled Using A Spatial Regression Model.
Understanding and Treating Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction: Novel Mechanisms, Diagnostics...
Heart FailureThe objectives of this study are: 1) to design new diagnostic criteria used to accurately define heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF); 2) to better define the risk factors associated with HFpEF; 3) to elucidate the clinical, cellular and molecular mechanisms involved with the development and progression of HFpEF; 4) to design and test new therapeutic strategies for patients with HFpEF.
Phase 4 Study to Demonstrate Prognostic Usefulness of AdreView™ Scintigraphy for Identifying Subjects...
Heart Failure (HF)This aim of the study is to investigate the prognostic usefulness of AdreView™ imaging to identify those subjects with New York Heart Association (NYHA) Class II or III HF who will die during 60 months of follow-up from the date of administration of AdreView™ in prior studies MBG311, MBG312, or MBG312C (hereafter included in MBG312).
