This study will determine the Maximal Tolerated Dose if any and the recommended dose for phase 2 of monalizumab, a monoclonal antibody directed against the CD94/NKG2A receptor, after allogenic stem cell transplantation. All patients will receive one single intravenous administration of one of the four doses of monalizumab.

Experimental and clinical data suggest that alloreactive NK cells can reduce the risk of graft-rejection, GvHD and leukemic relapse after HLA-mismatched transplantation. The effectiveness of allogeneic NK cells is a function of HLA-differences between donor and recipient that give rise to NK cell clones which do not express inhibitory receptors matching for the HLA molecules of the recipient. Aim of the study is to evaluate cellular therapy with alloreactive, IL-2 activated NK cells after transplantation of T-cell depleted stem cell grafts from one haplotype mismatched family donors in patients with hematological malignancies.

This is a pilot study designed to evaluate the safety and feasibility of performing umbilical cord blood transplants in older adults or younger infirm patients with high-risk hematopoeitic malignancies. A novel reduced-intensity preparative regimen for umbilical cord blood transplantation will be used. One to a maximum of three cord blood units, depending on cell count, will be administered to facilitate engraftment. Ten patients will be enrolled with an expected accrual rate of 3-4 patients per year and with a goal of completing accrual within 2-3 years.

The purpose of this trial is to determine safety and efficacy of 16 weeks treatment with thymosin alpha 1 given at 1.6 mg dose once daily by subcutaneous injection in adult patients with hematological undergone allogenic bone marrow transplantation and CMV positive. The efficacy will be explored assessing the ability of thymosin alpha1 to prevent the infection complications.

The study is designed to evaluate safety, immunogenicity, and preliminary anti-tumor activity of a multi-peptide immunotherapy (BB-MPI-03) at three peptide+adjuvant dose levels. The peptides stimulate cytotoxic T-cells targeting oncofetal antigen (OFA). Subjects with AML, MM, sMM, or MDS who are off treatment and with stable disease or better, or who are not eligible for or refuse allogeneic HSCT are to be enrolled. The study will be conducted at 2 to 4 study centers in the US.
