Immune Response in Patients With Hepatitis B and C Infection
Hepatitis BHepatitis CUsing peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) and serum collection from HBV and HCV infected patients in a number of different immunological assays, the investigators hope to identify any changes in the number and function of these immune cells and to investigate how these changes contribute to viral persistence and disease progression.
Functional Cure Rate of Peg-IFNα-2b Combined With TAF in HBeAg Negative CHB Patients
Chronic Hepatitis BThe study is aimed to explore the safety and efficacy of the pulse usage , comparing to continuous usage, of Peginterferon alfa-2b Injection (PEG IFN α-2b) Combined With tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) in treatment of naive chronic hepatitis B patients with HBeAg negative.
Relationship Between MAFLD and Liver Fibrosis Progression in Patients With Chronic Hepatitis B:...
Hepatitis BChronicThis multicenter retrospective study aims to study the association between the presence of MAFLD and change in liver stiffness over time in untreated and treated patients with chronic hepatitis B
Autoimmune Hepatitis Cohort in China
Autoimmune HepatitisThe goal of this observational study is to describe the clinical features and long-term prognosis in patients diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) in China and assess the effectiveness and safety of AIH treatment options in a real-world setting.
Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate and Entcavir in Treatment of Chronic...
Chronic Hepatitis b PatientsChronic hepatitis B (CHB) is one of the major causes of chronic liver diseases worldwide. Around 296 million people were living with chronic hepatitis B infection, with 1.5 million new infections each year and more than 820 thousand people die because of hepatitis B virus (HBV) related complications
Development of a Autoimmune Hepatitis Patient's Database Linked to a Biological Sample Storage
Autoimmune HepatitisLiver DisorderAutoimmune Hepatitis (AIH) is chronic fibroinflammatory disease of the liver characterized by chronic, relapsing liver inflammation, and a risk for progression to liver failure and need for liver transplantation. No AIH-specific registry does exist in Italy, so that the actual epidemiology of the disease in the country is unknown. This is an observational, retrospective and prospective, multicenter study evaluating incidence, prevalence and disease course of AIH in subjects > 1 years old in Italy.
Study to Evaluate Efficacy, Safety and Biomarkers of Bulevirtide Treatment in Chronic Hepatitis...
Chronic Hepatitis DThe aim is to assess the efficacy and specific safety in an observational study of patients with Chronic hepatitis D (CHD) with prospective follow-up, with antiviral treatment of 2 mg Bulevirtide (BLV) +/- PEG-IFNα-2a and +/- NA given as part of the patient's routine medical care. Also, explorative endpoints of biomarkers in peripheral blood, saliva, fecal sample and/or intrahepatic markers/signatures, and quality of life outcomes will be assessed.
Enhancing Hepatitis C Testing and Treatment Among People Who Inject Drugs Attending Needle and Syringe...
Hepatitis CHepatitis C1 moreThis project aims to evaluate two strategies of Hepatitis C virus (HCV) testing compared to standard of care among people who inject drugs at needle and syringe program (NSP) services in Australia, to see if it can improve the number of people who start treatment following an HCV diagnosis: HCV testing from collected dried blood spots sent to a central laboratory HCV testing using a point-of-care device at the NSP site HCV testing using standard of care at the NSP site
DNA Vaccine Therapy in Treating Patients With Chronic Hepatitis C Virus Infection
Chronic HepatitisHepatitis C InfectionThis phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) vaccine therapy in treating patients with hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection that persists or progresses over a long period of time. Vaccines made from DNA may help the body build an effective immune response to kill cancer cells that express HCV infection.
HA35 Moderate Alcoholic Hepatitis (AH) Study
Alcoholic HepatitisEligible participants will be asked to take a placebo/treatment capsule for 90 days and participate in two in-person study visits, one at the start of the 90 days and the second at the completion of study supplement administration. Both visits will include a physical exam, clinical labs, body composition measurements, muscle strength tests, questionnaires, and urine and stool collections. Additionally, a sugar cocktail will be consumed to measure gut permeability and a muscle biopsy will be collected. The day after the visits, you will need to return to drop off the 24-hour urine collection. Two phone visits will be performed in between the in-person visits at day 30 and 60 where you will be asked a series of questionnaires as well as asked about study supplement compliance.
