Hepatitis B

To assess whether PEG-INF (Peglyated - interferon) Add-on therapy in patients of CHB who have achieved a maintained viral suppression (HBV DNA PCR( polymerase chain reaction) <200 for last 3-6 month) with NA's can result in increased rate of HBV infection eradication (HbsAg is undetectable by serological blood testing with or without seroconversion to HBs antibody).

The Changes of Natural Killer Cells Frequency and Function During Antiviral Therapy

Chronic Hepatitis B Infection

Pegylated interferon α-2a(Peg-IFN-α) not only inhibit viral replication, but also play an important role in immune regulation, while Nucleoside analog(ue) drugs only inhibit viral replication. In hepatitis B infection, NKs are the main effector cells in early antiviral innate immune response. This study was aimed at investigating the changes of NKs frequency and function, and the expression of costimulatory molecules during Peg-IFN-αand nucleoside analog(ue) therapy.Meanwhile, investigators want to verify whether Peg IFN - alpha suppressed the virus and the reduction of virus led to the recovery of NKs function, or Peg IFN - alpha enhanced NKs function which gave rise to the decline of the virus.

Treatment of Egyptian Hepatitis C Genotype 4 Infected Children and Adolescents With Combined Ledipasvir/Sofosbuvir...

Hepatitis C Genotype 4

This is an open, uncontrolled study of twenty-five chronic HCV infected patients carried out at Yassin Abdel Ghaffar Charity Center for Liver Disease and Research. The aim of this study is to investigate the safety & efficacy of combined therapy ledipasvir (LDV) and sofosbuvir (SOF) for treating HCV Genotype 4 in children aged 8 to 18. Due to previous positive results in other clinical studies of this drug it is expected that the drug will have high safety and high efficacy. Safety will be measured by checking for adverse effects, while efficacy will be measured by Real-Time Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) detecting viral nucleic acids in blood samples.

Study of Nitazoxanide Compared to Placebo in Subjects With HBeAG-Negative Chronic Hepatitis B

Chronic Hepatitis B

This randomized controlled trial is designed to evaluate safety, effectiveness and pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) relationships associated with three different Nitazoxanide (NTZ) treatment regimens added to Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate (TDF), Tenofovir Alafenamide (TAF) or Entecavir (ETV) in treating Chronic Hepatitis B (CHB).

Hepatitis C Virus Infection

This study was to assess the safety and efficacy of Seraprevir in combination with sofosbuvir in patients with Hepatitis C (HCV) genotype2,3,6. Efficacy was assessed by the rate of sustained viral response (SVR) 12 weeks after the discontinuation of therapy (SVR12).

An Study to Evaluate Safety and Efficacy of QL-007 Tablets in Combination With Tenofovir in Naive...

Chronic Hepatitis b

This is an open label, randomized, multi-center, comparative study. Subjects will be screened prior to study entry to establish eligibility. 100 Subjects who meet all the selection criteria will be randomly assigned 1:1:1:1:1 to (A) QL007 100 mg QD+ Tenofovir dipirofurate fumarate (TDF)300 mg QD, (B) QL007 200 mg QD+ TDF 300 mg QD, (C) QL007 400 mg QD+ TDF 300 mg QD, (D) QL007 200 mg BID+ TDF 300 mg QD, (E) TDF 300 mg QD. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of QL-007 in combination with TDF in HBeAg positive patients with chronic hepatitis b, and to recommend a reasonable regimen for phase III study.
