Randomized, Placebo-controlled, Double-blind Study of 2LHERP® in Orofacial Herpes Infections.
Herpes SimplexHerpes simplex virus (HSV) infection is very common, as most people will experience herpetic infection during their lifetime. The most common manifestation of HSV infection is sores which may appear at any age. No specific antiviral therapy is available to totally cure herpetic infections and today, there is no treatment that allows the definitive eradication of the virus. The 2LHERP® has been available for more than 20 years, and has received a marketing authorization in Belgium by the FAMHP. It is used as an immune regulator in the treatment of herpetic infections. Since 2LHERP® has been made available, clinical observational data collected on treated patients have shown the beneficial effect on the disappearance of herpetic recurrences. The purpose of this placebo-controlled trial is to evaluate the efficacy of 2LHERP® on the treatment of herpetic infections in adults.

Hepatitis BChronicThis is a phase 2 study in which participants with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection will receive VIR-2218, VIR-3434 and/or PEG-IFNα and be assessed for safety, tolerability, and efficacy
Pradefovir Treatment for the Patients With Chronic Hepatitis B Virus Infections: a Phase3 Study...
Chronic Hepatitis bThis is a phase three study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Pradefovir treatment in chronic hepatitis B patients. Subject will be randomized to Pradefovir group and TDF group at a ratio of 2:1. Treatment duration will be 96w in randomization and followed by 48w in open. The interim analysis will be conducted when all subject completed the first 48-week treatment.
Antiviral Therapy for Patients With Chronic Hepatitis B Infection
Chronic Hepatitis B Virus InfectionThe study aims to demonstrate that antiviral therapy for patients with immune tolerance of CHB. On the basis of the original antiviral therapy of entecavir, further clarify the safety and effectiveness of entecavir combined with tenofovir amibufenamide. The investigators plan to enroll about 328 hepatitis B patients,. who are in the stage of immune tolerance. These participants will be devided into two groups randomly .Group A will receive the treatment of entecavir. Group B will be treated with entecavir and tenofovir amibufenamide. The participants in both groups will be followed up for 96 weeks. The primary endpoint is to compare the inhibition rate of HBV-DNA between two groups. The secondary endpoint includes: (1) Comparing the decrease of HBV DNA at 48 weeks between the two groups. (2) Comparing the HBeAg seroconversion rates at 48 weeks and 96 weeks between the two groups. (3) The changes of HBsAg at 48 weeks and 96 weeks between the two groups. (4) Comparing adverse side effects between the two groups.

Durvalumab for Advanced Hepatocellular Carcinoma in Patients With Active Chronic Hepatitis B Virus...
Advanced Hepatocellular CarcinomaPD1 blockade has been approved as salvage therapy for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Although there is not solid evidence that PD1 blockade would induce hepatitis B virus (HBV) reactivation, previous clinical trials of PD1 blockade required enrolled patients to receive anti-HBV medications and control the viral load to be under 100-2000 IU/mL before initiation of PD1 blockade therapy. Such a requirement may not be necessary and could delay the treatment. Guidelines for prevention of chemotherapy induced HBV reactivation only suggest combining anti-HBV medications during the chemotherapy course without such a requirement of very load HBV viral load. The investigators hypothesized that under anti-HBV medications, patients with advanced HCC and active chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection can receive durvalumab treatment without increased risks of HBV reactivation and related complications.
