HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus)This protocol describes an individually randomized trial that will include adult people living with HIV (PLHIV) currently receiving HIV care at one of two participating health facilities and identified as high risk for disengagement from care by a machine learning algorithm. Participants randomized to the control arm will receive standard of care HIV clinical services according to Tanzania's National Guidelines for the management of HIV. For those who meet clinic eligibility criteria for enhanced adherence counseling, which at the included study sites is when client's viral load reaches a detectable level (>1000 copies/ml), this includes the standard provision of three, once-monthly, 60-minute nurse-led individual, enhanced adherence counseling sessions, starting on the day of the result and for two months after. Intervention arm participants will receive the same standard HIV care services plus the offer of a cash transfer paired with visit attendance and attendance at each of the three adapted enhanced adherence counseling sessions (referred to as PKC sessions).
HIV A6 Genome In ART Unsuccessful Patients On DOR
Virus-HIVThe aim of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of Doravirine (DOR) in the second-line therapy for patients infected with HIV-1 sub-subtype A6 and its derivatives and having the mutations to previously used drugs
A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Glecaprevir/Pibrentasvir (ABT-493/ABT-530) in Treatment-Naive...
Hepatitis C Virus (HCV)This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of glecaprevir/pibrentasvir (ABT-493/ABT-530) in non-cirrhotic chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype (GT)1 to GT6-infected Asian participants with or without human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) co-infection who are HCV treatment-naïve or treatment-experienced with interferon (IFN) with or without ribavirin (RBV), OR sofosbuvir with RBV with or without IFN.
Dolutegravir Plus Tenofovir/Lamivudine or Emtricitabine in HIV-1 Infected Transgender Women
HIV InfectionsProspective, open, single-arm trial of dolutegravir-tenofovir and emtricitabine or lamivudine (DTG-TDF-FTC or 3TC) in antiretroviral (ART) naïve HIV transgender women (TGW). The primary objective of this pilot study is to determine the retention in care of TGW treated with DTG-TDF-FTC or 3TC Secondary objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of the antiretroviral regimen at week 48 ; To describe the safety and tolerability of this regimen; To evaluate adherence across 48 weeks; To determine the patient satisfaction with this regimen; To identify individual, social and contextual factors associated with adherence and retention.
Feasibility of Telerehabilitation in HIV-patients
Human Immunodeficiency VirusThe aim of this study is to assess the feasibility and the effects of a 6-week telerehabilitation on the three domains of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health in HIV-infected patients under highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART). HIV-infected patients were randomized either into an Endurance and Resistance Training Exercise (ERTE) group or a control (CON) group. Telerehabilitation was realized in a public fitness center, with online guidance and weekly telephone advice, 3 times per week for 6 weeks. Feasibility was determined by recruitment rate, retention rate and adverse events. Secondary outcomes were impact on body composition, inflammation and coagulation (C-reactive protein, D-dimer), physical fitness and quality of life (WHOQOL-HIV).
An Efficacy, Safety, and Tolerability Study Comparing Dolutegravir Plus Lamivudine With Dolutegravir...
InfectionHuman Immunodeficiency Virus1 moreThis study will compare safety, efficacy, and tolerability of a two drug regimen of dolutegravir (DTG) plus (+) lamivudine (3TC) administered once daily with DTG plus two nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (Tenofovir [TDF]/Emtricitabine [FTC] fixed dose combination [FDC]) administered once daily in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) 1 infected adult participants that have not previously received antiretroviral therapy. The study is designed to demonstrate the non-inferior antiviral activity of DTG plus 3TC regimen to that of DTG plus TDF/FTC FDC and will characterise the long term antiviral activity, tolerability and safety of DTG plus 3TC through Week 148. Approximately, 700 participants will be randomised 1:1 to receive DTG + 3TC or DTG + TDF/FTC FDC. Participants will be stratified by screening HIV 1 ribonucleotide nucleic acid (RNA) levels and by screening CD4+ (cluster of differentiation 4) cell count.
3BNC117 and 10-1074 in HIV-infected Individuals
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)This is a phase 1b clinical trial to evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics and the antiretroviral effects of the combination of two anti-human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) broadly neutralizing antibodies, 3BNC117 and 10-1074, administered intravenously in HIV-infected individuals. This study is intended to support the development of the combination of 3BNC117 and 10-1074 mAbs for use in the treatment of HIV-1 infection.
Effects of Doravirine (MK-1439) on Methadone Pharmacokinetics in Methadone-Maintained Participants...
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) InfectionThis study will evaluate the effects of multiple doses of doravirine (MK-1439) on the pharmacokinetics of methadone in participants requiring methadone maintenance therapy. The primary hypothesis is that area under the plasma concentration-time curve to 24 hours postdose (AUC0-24) of (R)-methadone is similar when a maintenance regimen of methadone is administered with or without multiple daily doses of doravirine.
A Open-label, Drug-Drug Interaction With Maraviroc (DDI)
InfectionHuman Immunodeficiency VirusThis is a Phase 1, open-label, single sequence, two-way interaction study in healthy male and female subjects. For the effect of maraviroc on the pharmacokinetics (PK) of BMS-626529 (the active moiety of BMS-663068), there is no formal hypothesis to be statistically tested. The purpose of this assessment is to estimate the effect of maraviroc on the PK of BMS-626529 when coadministered in healthy subjects. For the effect of BMS-663068 on the PK of maraviroc, the hypothesis to be statistically tested is that BMS-663068 will not have a clinically significant effect on the PK of maraviroc when coadministered in healthy subjects.
