Intraabdominal Hypertension After Kidney Transplantation
Intraabdominal HypertensionKidney TransplantationIntraabdominal hypertension (IAH) is a frequent and severe condition affecting intensive care patients. Gold standard for estimation of intraabdominal pressure is intravesical pressure (IVP) measurement. IVP measurement is recommended in patients presenting IAH risk factor(s). Acute kidney injury is the most frequent and described complication of IAH condition. Patients undergoing kidney transplantation have several risk factors to develop IAH. Nevertheless, to our knowledge, IAH incidence, associated factors and impact on renal function recovery remains unknown. We aim to study IAH incidence, associated factors and impact on renal function recovery in post kidney transplantation period.
A Study for Post-marketing Surveillance of Azilsartan Medoxomil/Chlorthalidone Fixed Dose Combination...
Essential HypertensionThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety by assessing all serious and non-serious adverse events (AEs), irrespective of relatedness or expectedness, as well as other safety parameters including laboratory values, serious adverse events (SAEs)/serious adverse drug reactions (ADRs), unexpected AEs and ADRs that are not reflected on the precaution in the use, ADRs already known, non-serious ADRs and other safety related information (laboratory values changes, etc).
Mindfulness Meditation & Blood Pressure
HypertensionHypertension (HTN) is a common cardiovascular disorder present globally. In spite of various treatment approaches utilized in treating HTN, there is a surge in popularity of mindfulness meditation (MM) in recent years. Although multiple techniques of MM are advocated to be efficient in the treatment of HTN among hypertensive adults, the level of supportive evidence is variable and limited. Therefore authors aim to conduct a systematic review to investigate the effectiveness of mindfulness meditation on blood pressure (BP) among young adults.
Clinical Study on the Efficacy of Microvascular Decompression in the Treatment of Neurogenic Hypertension...
Neurogenic HypertensionHypertension1 moreHypertension has always been a threat to human health, so the prevention and treatment is of great significance. At present, the treatment of primary hypertension is mainly drug treatment, but many patients can not control their blood pressure in the normal range. Therefore, it is urgent to explore new and effective treatment methods. Microvascular compression type of neurogenic hypertension is mainly due to abnormal tortuous vascular pulsatile compression of blood pressure center - rostral ventrolateral medulla (RVLM), resulting in the release of sympathetic active substances, leading to hypertension. The purpose of this study is to explore the efficacy and safety of microvascular decompression for hypertension in patients of hemifacial spasm complicated with hypertension, and to explore the common characteristics of patients with effective decompression. The type of study design was prospective cohort study. According to certain inclusion and exclusion criteria, patients with RVLM compression were treated with RVLM decompression at the same time of facial nerve decompression. Patients who were followed up for 3 months were taken as control group, and the blood pressure of the two groups were measured after 3 months. The main outcome measure was 24-hour ambulatory systolic blood pressure change from baseline to 3 months.
The Impact of Telemonitoring in the Management of Hypertension
Health Services AdministrationTelemedicine1 moreRater blinded, multi-center, prospective, randomized controlled study comparing mean 24 hour systolic blood pressure of eligible hypertensive patients in the TELEMONITORIN group versus the USUAL CARE group, at 6 months after inclusion.
Digital Intervention Participation in DASH
HypertensionDietary Quality2 moreThis study will examine the context of making high quality dietary choices among Black adults with hypertension. Secondly, this study will also investigate what Black adults need or desire to participate in a digital intervention to improve dietary quality by adopting the DASH eating pattern.
Precise Treatment of Prediabetes and Stage 1 Hypertension
DiabetesTo identify the occurrence of diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events and all-cause death in patients with baseline prediabetes and stage1 hypertension after 18 years follow up. To identify whether one or several metabolites can be used as serum markers to judge the prognosis of patients with prediabetes and stage1 hypertension, and to establish the evaluation model of metabolites for the prognosis.
Evaluation of a Decision Support Tool
Medication AdherenceHypertension3 moreInvestigators will conduct a randomized trial with patients, through one-on-one interviews, to evaluate their understanding of and willingness to use a decision support tool and to determine if receiving and discussing the decision support tool improves the likelihood that a patient is adherent to a new antihypertensive medication.
Observational Study to Investigate the Effectiveness of Eprosartan on Pulse Pressure (Teveten_MS)...
HypertensionThe study is to identify the effectiveness of Eprosartan on pulse pressure in hypertensive patients with metabolic syndrome -Definition of pulse pressure (PP): Difference between systolic and diastolic blood pressure produced one heart beat.
Diagnostic Properties of Aldosterone-Renin Ratio in Primary Aldosteronism Among Hypertensives.
HyperaldosteronismHypertensionThis study aims to evaluate the diagnostic value of the Aldosterone-Renin Ratio (ARR)as a screening test for primary aldosteronism among hypertensives. The test characteristics will be studied. Furthermore, the effect of eplerenone, a selective aldosterone-receptor antagonist will be studied.
