Long-acting G-CSF for Febrile Neutropenia
Epithelial Ovarian CancerColony Stimulating Factors4 moreThis study aims to analyze the effects of long-acting granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) on the prevention febrile neutropenia (FN) in epithelial ovarian cancer. Patients are randomized into study group and control group. In study group, patients accept long-acting G-CSF 48 hours from the chemotherapy. While the control group accept regular treatment rather than long-acting G-CSF. The primary end is the incidence of FN in every course of chemotherapy. The secondary ends include: the incidences of myelosuppression, doses of G-CSF and its expenses, visits to outpatient and emergency clinics, adverse events related to G-CSF.
Salvage Brachytherapy and Hyperthermia for Recurrent H&N-tumours
Locally Recurrent Head and Neck CancerThe aim of the present trial is to assess the prospective results of protocol-based interstitial pulsed-dose-rate (PDR) brachytherapy with interstitial hyperthermia (iHT) in a group of selected patients where salvage surgery with clear resection margins was not possible.
A Dose-finding Trial of Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Docetaxel
Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal ChemotherapyThis is a single-center study design, and 30 patients will be enrolled. Eligible patients will receive docetaxel at different dose levels according to the trial schedule. All the enrolled patients were treated with docetaxel during the first HIPEC treatment and cisplatin during the second HIPEC treatment at 43℃ for 1 hour. The dose of docetaxel for patients in the next group was determined according to the incidence of dose-limiting toxicity (DLT) of the previous docetaxel dose level. Finally, the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of docetaxel for HIPEC was calculated according to the incidence of dose-limiting toxicity.
Targeted Shortwave Diathermy Combined With Perceptual Training for Patients With Severe Traumatic...
Traumatic Optic NeuropathyPurpose: Patients with severe traumatic optic neuropathy (TON) have limited improvement in visual function despite therapy. The hypothesis of the study is that the targeted shortwave diathermy combined with perceptual training may enhance visual function in patients with severe TON after endoscopic optic nerve decompression (EOND) surgery. Design: Clinical trial Subjects: Twenty-two subjects with severe TON after EOND surgery were randomly assigned to either a rehabilitation (Reh) group or nonrehabilitation (Nreh) group. Methods: High-resolution computed tomography and MRI were used to locate the impaired nerve. The subjects in the Reh group received targeted shortwave diathermy therapy 5 days per week for 4 weeks and perceptual training 5 days per week for 10 weeks. Main Outcome Measures: A thorough evaluation of visual function, visual evoked potential, and diffusion tensor imaging was executed.
Neoadjuvant Concomitant Modulated Electro-hyperthermia in HER2-negative Breast Cancer
HER2-negative Breast CancerThe aim of this study is to investigate whether the application of concomitant modulated electro-hyperthermia in a neoadjuvant chemotherapeutic setting is beneficial for patients with HER2-negative, stage II-III breast cancer.
ICARuS Post-operative Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (EPIC) and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy...
Appendix CancerColorectal CancerThis is the first randomized trial comparing Early post-operative intraperitoneal chemotherapy (EPIC) and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) for appendiceal and colorectal cancer. The purpose of this study is to find out what effects, good and/or bad, EPIC and HIPEC after cytoreductive surgery have on the patient and the appendiceal, rectal or colon cancer.
Adjuvant Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) Versus no HIPEC in Locally Advanced Colorectal...
Locally Advanced Colorectal CancerThis study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of adjuvant hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) with raltitrexed or oxaliplatin versus no HIPEC in locally advanced colorectal cancer
A Randomized Prospective Trail of HIPEC in Recurrent Ovarian Cancer Patients With HRR Mutation
Ovarian CancerEpithelial Ovarian Cancer4 moreA phase III prospective study with the primary objective to investigate the benefit of Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) in ovarian cancer patients with mutations in homologous recombination repair (HRR) genes. The target population for this study is patients with recurrent ovarian, peritoneal or fallopian tube cancers undergoing Cytoreductive Surgery (CRS). Patients will be divided into two groups according to HRR genes mutation, each group will be further divided into two sub-groups with different intervention. Patients in Group A are HRR mutated type, sub-group 1 will undergo CRS plus HIPEC and then go on to receive standard platinum-based combination doublet intravenous chemotherapy, sub-group 2 will undergo CRS and then go on to intravenous chemotherapy. Patients in Group B are HRR wild type, sub-group 3 will undergo CRS plus HIPEC and then go on to receive standard platinum-based combination doublet intravenous chemotherapy, sub-group 4 will undergo CRS and then go on to intravenous chemotherapy. All patients will receive maintenance therapy with Niraparib after primary treatment. Prognostic information will be collected for investigation of survival benefits of patients.

Gastric CancerChemotherapy Effect3 moreThis study is a prospective, randomized, comparative clinical trial conducted by Wuhan Union Hospital and aim to compare the therapeutic effects of Lobaplatin and Paclitaxel in advanced gastric cancer patients with D2 surgery combined with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy
Early Versus Late Stopping of Antibiotics in Children With Cancer and High-risk Febrile Neutropenia...
Febrile NeutropeniaThis randomised controlled trial will determine the non-inferiority of stopping empiric antibiotics prior to absolute neutrophil count (ANC) recovery (Early Stopping) versus stopping antibiotics upon ANC recovery (Standard of Care/ Late Stopping) , in children with cancer and high-risk febrile neutropenia (FN).
