A Real-world Study of Imraldi® Use
ArthritisRheumatoid (RA)6 moreThe primary objective of this study is to evaluate candidate predictors of persistence on adalimumab (Imraldi®) participants diagnosed with immune-mediated inflammatory disease in Europe (EU). The secondary objectives of this study are to describe participant clinical characteristics at baseline, utilization of Imraldi® over time, biologic drug effectiveness over time, participant satisfaction with biologic administration, routine laboratory values and clinical evaluation measurements over time, use of relevant concomitant medication use over time, immunogenicity of biosimilars and to summarize safety events.
Junior / Senior Concordance in Ultrasound Assessment of Crohn's Disease

Effect of SB CD on Chylomicron
Crohn DiseaseIt is often suggested that lymphatic vessels are ineffective in transporting cargo in Crohn's disease. Our own work on surgically resected tissue supports this concept (1), but the concept has not been directly tested. Chylomicrons are packaged lipids from the diet with an obligatory absorption route through the lymphatic vasculature to reach host plasma. This protocol takes an approach to directly quantify chylomicron secretion using a fatty meal that incorporates stable isotopic tracers for trioleate and cholesterol in the meal. We will collect baseline plasma and then plasma every 30 minutes for 6 hours to chart the kinetic and magnitude of chylomicron secretion and transport in all subjects using mass spectrometry analysis. We will characterize a wide variety of parameters on the chylomicrons as well using ELISA. Infusions i.v. of stable isotope labeled triglyceride and glycerol will allow us to consider whether there are changes in VLDL metabolism that could account for differences in chylomicron handling once the chylomicrons are secreted into plasma. Collection and analysis of breath samples will also be carried to normalize against possible incomplete lipid absorption in some subjects.
Effectiveness of Rifaximin on Preventing Postoperative Recurrence in Crohn's Disease
Crohn DiseaseSome studies have shown that rifaximin is effective in the management of Crohn's Disease. Meanwhile, its adverse effect is tolerable. But no study has been conducted to assess its effect on preventing postoperative recurrence. Thus, we conduct a randomised controlled study to assess the effect of rifaximin on preventing postoperative endoscopic recurrence in Crohn's disease. The primary endpoint is the rate of endoscopic recurrence at 6 months.
MRI Differentiating Gut TB and Crohn's
Crohn DiseaseIntestinal TuberculosisIt is clinically challenging to differentiate Crohn's disease from gut tuberculosis especially in regions endemic of tuberculosis infection. The investigators plan to perform magnetic resonance enterography (MRE) who presented to our hospital in Shenzhen, China for new onset of lower gastrointestinal symptoms and ileocecal mucosal lesions of uncertain diagnosis as evidenced by the presence of inflammation, ulceration, strictures or nodules on colonoscopy. MRE findings will be independently interpreted by two radiologistsThe role of MRE in distinguishing gut tuberculosis from Crohn's disease will be determined.
Circadian Misalignment in Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Inflammatory Bowel DiseasesCrohn Disease1 moreThis study is to explore the role the sleep/wake cycle (Circadian Rhythm) has on Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Participants will be asked to attend two clinic visits 14 days apart. Participants will complete a packet of questionnaires regarding their health and sleep habits. Over the 14 days between visits participants will be asked to wear a wrist actigraphy device that will measure their sleep-wake activity along with filling in a sleep diary. During the visits, participants will have a physical exam on visit 1 and on visit 2 participants will be asked to give blood, stool, and urine samples. Additionally, participants may also give sigmoid tissue samples during an optional unprepped limited flexible sigmoidoscopy procedure.
MICISPORT Survey : Questionnaire
Crohn's DiseaseThis study offers a questionnaire to patients with Crohn's disease in order to assess their physical activity and / or sport as well as their eating habits in order to assess the impact of these lifestyle habits on activity and the symptoms of the disease.
Effect of Vitamin D Supplementation on the Efficacy of Ustekinumab in the Treatment of Crohn's Disease...
UstekinumabVitamin D Supplementation2 moreIt is uncertain whether vitD3 supplementation is beneficial for the remission of Crohn's disease (CD). The effects of vitD3 supplements on the efficacy of ustekinumab in Chinese CD patients were retrospectively analyzed. Methods: Patients with moderate to severe CD were recorded. These patients were initially treated with UST. VitD3 supplementation was defined as 400IU/d vitD3 supplementation during the first infusion of UST and continued throughout the follow-up period. Disease activity was assessed using Harvey Bradshaw Index.
