Can CT Enteroclysis Predict the Outcome of Crohn's Disease
Crohn's DiseaseSpecific CT Enteroclysis findings with or without other clinical and laboratory variables, can identify Crohn's disease patients who will response to medical therapy versus those who will either fail and require surgery or have uncontrolled disease.

Registry of Pediatric Patients Diagnosed With Crohn's Disease in Belgium
Description of Disease CourseDisease Fenotype3 moreA registry of pediatric patients (under 18 yrs of age) diagnosed with Crohn's disease was created in Belgium. Over a 2 year period 257 patients are included. These patients will be follow up prospectively during 5 years. Demographic data, family history, disease presentation and disease course including medication are registered in CRF's.

Adherence to Mesalamine Profile for Patients With Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Ulcerative ColitisCrohn's DiseaseHypothesis: Mesalamine is commonly used to induce and maintain remission in patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Behavioral and psycho-social barriers to mesalamine adherence exist in patients with IBD. These factors can be identified using qualitative testing in order to develop a validated instrument to measure the "adherence profile" of an individual patient, and design appropriate behavioral interventions to reduce non-adherence. Objectives: To test a novel interview instrument that determines the medication adherence profile of patients with IBD prescribed mesalamine by correlating with objective measures of adherence

An Investigational Study to Test Usability of the Electronic Dosing Equipment Medicpen
Crohn's DiseaseUlcerative ColitisThis is a study of the electronical dosing tool MedicPen and it's qualities with regards to user friendliness and medication compliance.

Beta Carotene From Natural Source for Patients With Non-Active Crohn's Disease
Crohn's DiseaseMany inflammatory disorders in the body are linked to oxidative tissue damage. Anti-oxidants that are present in many natural food sources may provide protection from such damage. Beta carotene is an anti-oxidant vitamin present in many fruits and vegetables. The algae Dunaliella is particularly rich in beta carotene. In this prospective trial we want to investigate whether beta carotene from Dunaliella may prevent exacerbations of Crohn's disease.

Use of FDG PET/CT to Evaluate Crohn Disease
Crohn DiseaseThe purpose of this study will permit to determine the role of FDG PET/CT to diagnose Crohn Disease and recurrence of Crohn disease after having compared results of PET/CT's with results of exams routinely performed(colonoscopy and bowel follow through).

A Study of Vedolizumab in Adults With Ulcerative Colitis (UC) or Crohn's Disease (CD) in Real-World...
Inflammatory Bowel DiseasesCrohns Disease2 moreVedolizumab is a medicine that helps to reduce symptoms of IBD and the associated inflammation in the digestive system for participants with ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease. In this study, participants with ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease will be treated with vedolizumab according to their clinic's standard practice. Participants will receive vedolizumab as either an infusion or an injection just under the skin (subcutaneous). The main aim of the study is to observe real-world treatment patterns in participants treated with vedolizumab. The study sponsor will not be involved in how participants are treated but will provide instructions on how the clinics will record what happens during the study.

Development of Inflammation and Fibrosis Index, Combining MRI and PET 18F-FDG, in Patient's With...
Crohn DiseaseChronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a disabling, incurable condition that affects 250,000 people in France, and Crohn's disease (CD) is the most common form. CD progresses, in one-quarter of the cases, towards the appearance of intestinal stenosis, most often on the terminal ileum, sometimes with obstructive symptoms and requiring an optimization of medical treatment (biotherapies) and/or surgery The hypothesis of this study is [18F]FDG PET /CT, (Positron emission tomography with the tracer fluorine-18 (18F) fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG), called [18F]FDG PET coupled to a dedicated CT scanner) could help quantify intestinal inflammation in patients with abnormal entero-MRI, and differentiate inflammation and fibrosis on a joint PET /CT and MRI , in patients with complicated Crohn Disease intestinal stenosis

18F-FDG and 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT in Crohn's Disease
Crohn DiseaseIntestinal stricture is a complication of Crohn's disease (CD), which is thought to be the result of chronic transmural inflammation combined with a dysregulated wound-healing process. While inflammatory strictures may respond to anti-inflammatory treatment, fibrotic strictures are usually anti-inflammation resistant, requiring further endoscopic balloon dilation or surgical intervention. Therefore, to determinate the inflammatory or fibrotic nature of intestinal stricture is a key step in the treatment of CD. 18F-FDG is a radiotracer reflecting the glucose metabolism of disease and is usually accumulated in inflammatory disease. 68Ga-FAPI is a novel radiotracer that specifically targets fibroblast activation protein (FAP). FAP is a membrane glycoprotein expressed on activated fibroblasts, which are key cells in the process of fibrotic intestinal stricture of CD. In this study, we hypothesis that the inflammatory or fibrotic nature of intestinal stricture can be non-invasively evaluated by 18F-FDG and 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT in patients with CD.

Crohn DiseaseUlcerative Colitis4 moreThe aim of the study is to describe the real-world profile of patients treated with adalimumab FK in gastroenterology, dermatology or rheumatology in order to evaluate in this population the predictive factors of therapeutic response (in particular nutritional status) and generate hypothesis between nutritional status and therapeutic response.
