Outcome Evaluation After Fertility Preservation
CancerFertility IssuesIt is important to evaluate outcomes after different fertility preservation strategies. Therefore, this study aims to assess the outcomes after different fertility preservation strategies and identify any factors that may affect their reproductive outcome.
Darwishscope Versus Flow Test and Bubble Flow Test in Infertility
Tubal PatencyFallopian tube (FT) function is complex. One of the main functions is transport of sperms for fertilization and transport of the embry for implantation. Hysteroscopic access to "Darwish Hysteroscopic Triad" allows excellent way to assess FT patency. This study compares three ways of assessing FT patency separably or in combination: flow test, bubble flow test and peristalsis test. Combined bubble flow test and peristalsis test is recently published and coined (Darwishscope)1.
Sex or no Sex: That is the Question.
InfertilityFemale1 moreThis study aims to evaluate the impact of sexual intercourse and orgasm in the 72 hrs following embryo transfer of blastocysts on the clinical pregnancy rate. An impact on sexual activity and a decrease in the frequency of intercourse has been observed in infertile couples. In couples who undergo assisted reproductive technology (ART), sexual relations have an additional component that can condition them, such as the fear of influencing the outcome of the cycle. The usual practice in ART cycles has evolved towards a preference for blastocyst-stage embryo transfer, both in fresh in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles and in frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycles. The investigators consider it important to elucidate whether coital intercourse after embryo transfer (ET) has an impact on the clinical pregnancy rate after the transfer of blastocyst-stage embryos.
Uterine Junctional Zone and Its Relation to Adverse Obstetrical Outcomes in Assisted Reproductive...
InfertilityFemaleThe junctional zone (JZ) is an internal layer of the myometrium, with unique characteristics that allow its visualization as a hypoechogenic structure in three-dimensional (3D) ultrasound. While there is a growing realization that the origins of major obstetrical complications associated with defective deep placentation, such as pre-term labour, fetal growth restriction and pre-eclampsia, may lie in the very early pregnancy events, the underlying mechanisms are not understood.
CS Scar Impact on ART Outcomes
Fertility IssuesCS scar impact on ART outcomes, Retrospective Cohort Study IVF outcome can be affected by the presence of caesarean section scar with or without defect in different ways
Survival and Reproductive Outcomes of Malignant Ovarian Germ Cell Tumors
Fertility IssuesMalignant ovarian germ cell tumor patients conducted fertility-sparing surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy in Kasr El-Aini Hospital - Faculty of Medicine - Cairo University from January 2012 to December 2016 will be retrospectively investigated.
Follow-up With Preimplantation Genetic Testing Patients
InfertilityGenetic Disease1 moreThe main purpose of this study is to perform longitudinal evaluations of clinical outcomes and personal perspectives following utilization of preimplantation genetic testing (PGT). Patients indicating willingness to participate in research during informed consent to perform PGT will be eligible for inclusion. A licensed genetic counselor will conduct a recorded interview.
Aurora Test for Patients Treated With Recombinant Gonadotropins
InfertilityThis is an observational study. The main aim is to determine the expression of potential biomarker genes in the cumulus cells isolated from individual oocytes in two patient cohorts: recombinant human Follicle Stimulating Hormone(hFSH) and recombinant hFSH:human Luteinizing Hormone(r-hLH) ratio 2:1. Algorithms from gene combinations will be identified that predict embryo quality and pregnancy outcomes.
Infertility Survey Among Reproductive Age Women With Gynecological and Breast Cancer
Anatomic Stage I Breast Cancer AJCC v8Anatomic Stage IA Breast Cancer AJCC v828 moreThis study develops infertility survey among reproductive age women with gynecological and breast cancer. This study aims to learn how women consider whether or not to try to have a baby after surviving cancer. The advice gathered from this survey may be shared with patients and survivors in the future, so that they have information to inform their decisions about cancer treatment and family planning.
