This is a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, active comparator controlled study in which up to 450 healthy adults age 18-64 years will be administered either one of two dose levels of VAX2012Q or a licensed quadrivalent influenza vaccine. The subjects will be randomized at a 1:1:1 ratio.

Prospective cohort study to evaluate safety and immunogenicity of the fragmented, inactivated trivalent Influenza vaccine produced at Butantan Institute in healthy adults and elderly. The study will include a total of 120 participants: 60 participants aged 18 to 59 years in the healthy adults group, and 60 participants aged older than 60 years in the elderly group.This study will evaluate the safety of one dose of the fragmented, inactivated trivalent Influenza vaccine in the first 3 days after vaccination, as well as its immunogenicity 21 days after vaccination.

Haemophilus Influenzae Type b Infections

The study will evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of a haemophilus influenzae type b conjugate vaccine (Hib) in Healthy Children 2 Months to 5 Years of Age who have not been previously immunized with a Hib vaccine. Children 2 to 5 months of age will receive 3 doses of Hib vaccine, Children 6 to 11 months of age will receive 2 doses of Hib vaccine, Children 1 to 5 years of age will receive 1 dose of Hib vaccine, with each dose given approximately 1 month apart.

The ARROW-FLU Influenza A&B Test is an in vitro diagnostic immuno-chromatographic assay intended for the qualitative detection of influenza A and influenza B viral nucleoprotein antigens from nasal or nasopharyngeal swab specimens in symptomatic patients. It is intended to aid in the rapid differential diagnosis of influenza A and/or B viral infections. This test is not intended for the detection of influenza C viruses. A negative test is presumptive and it is recommended these results be confirmed by cell culture of an FDA cleared molecular device. Negative results do not preclude influenza virus infection and should not be used as the sole basis for treatment or other management decisions.
