The objectives of this study are to test the following hypotheses that 1) the novel device will allow for increased body weight support while improving or maintaining the same level of patient comfort; 2) the novel device will yield greater patient satisfaction with gait therapy relative to current harness systems; 3) therapists will be more satisfied with the use of the novel device relative to current harness systems; 4) the use of the novel device will require less total therapist time than a harness comparator; 5) the use of the novel device will increase therapeutic treatment time when compared with current harness systems.

Wounds and InjuriesThe primary objective is to compare the failure rate due to splenic bleeding between the patients undergoing pre-emptive splenic arterial embolization (SAE) as part of non-operative management (NOM) and the patients not undergoing SAE. We hypothesize that the use of pre-emptive SAE will decrease the delayed bleeding rate and increase the success rate of NOM.

Microlyte Dressing in the Management of Wounds
Wound HealThe purpose of this pilot study is to assess the efficacy of Microlyte Ag wound dressing when used in complex skin wounds. Microlyte Ag is a class-II medical device cleared by the FDA for prescription and over the counter use in humans. Primary clinical end point of study is percentage change in wound size from initiation of Microlyte Ag treatment through 90 days or until wound closure. Patient population comprises patients referred to Mission's Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center for management of their wounds. Targeted enrollment is 100 subjects distributed into 4 study cohorts corresponding to the type of wound treated: venous stasis ulcer (20 patients); diabetic foot ulcer [DFU] (20 patients); pressure ulcer (20 patients); wounds of various other etiologies (40 patients).

Brain Injury Therapy of Exercise and Enriched Environment
Brain InjuriesThe purpose of this study is to determine whether exercise or exercise with enrichment is beneficial in individuals who previously had a head injury. The enrichment will consist of a cultural educational program that will include ethnic food, music, slides and a talk. A series of tests that measure mental function and balance will be done before and after the exercise or the exercise/enrichment program will be done to measure efficacy.

VAC Dressings for Colorectal Resections
Surgical Site InfectionWound Complication3 moreSurgical Site Infections (SSIs) and wound complications are common occurrences following colorectal resection surgery. Incisional Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (iNPWT) has developing evidence for improving wound complication rates in certain populations. However, there have been no RCTs to date that have looked at iNPWT use after colorectal surgery. We propose a study in which patients are randomized into one of two treatment arms: 1) incisional NPWT, and 2) standard sterile gauze dressings. Patients will be followed for 30 days for diagnosis of infection or wound complication. We will compare primary outcomes in each group using Chi-Squared statistical testing in order to report a Absolute Risk Reduction and Number Needed to Treat
