PneumonitisInterstitial2 moreThe main goal of this prospective non-interventional exploratory monocentric study is to characterize the immune cell composition of bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid from cancer patients experiencing cancer therapy-induced pneumonitis on a single-cell scale. These mechanistic insights can directly lead to putative diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets. A second highly clinically relevant hypothesis is that single-cell profiling of blood samples will reveal circulating biomarkers of ICB toxicity, making non-invasive diagnosis feasible.
Genentech Validation Tool for Pulmonary Fibrosis
Interstitial Lung DiseaseRadiology is an important component of the multidisciplinary team. The primary goal of this project will be to create a tool using findings on chest computed tomography (CT) for nearly 300 patients with the most common types of fibrosis. The tool will be tested using chest CT scans of an additional 100 patients with the 3 most common diagnoses of fibrosis. The second objective will be to further validate the tool by performing a reader study with 3 co-investigating radiologists and ask them to look at 100 CT scans of patients with fibrosis without tool and then with tool and see if accuracy of diagnosis improves compared to the working diagnosis when using the tool.

Rheumatoid ArthritisInterstitial Lung DiseaseThe overall goal of this study is to define the phenotype of Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), and identify factors that predict radiologic progression in those with subclinical RA-ILD, in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The investigators hypothesize that there are common core elements (e.g. clinical features, genetic variants, and/or biologic markers) between other forms of ILD (e.g. idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, IPF) and subclinical RA-ILD that places individuals at risk for the development of lung disease.
Creation of a Biospecimen Repository From Patients With Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD)

Pulmonary Care and Research Collaborative Patient Registry
Interstitial Lung DiseaseThe purpose of this research study is to build and maintain a registry of people with interstitial lung disease (ILD). Medical information collected for this registry may be used to advance ILD and pulmonary research and improve patient care. This is an observational registry. Participants will not receive any investigational treatments or investigational drugs as part of their participation in this registry.

Interstitial lung disease (ILD) concerns almost 50 % of SSc patients and represents the main cause of mortality. SSc-ILD is variable: from limited forms (with asymptomatic patients) to extensive lesions. Disease course in SSc-ILD is also highly variable: patients can experience stable disease, slow or fast progression. Investigators performed unsupervised clustering analysis to classify SSc-ILD according to elementary radiological lesions on HRCT scan.
