Cohort of Inflammatory Bowel Disease Patient in Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital
Inflammatory Bowel DiseasesPathologically Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is in chronic complex inflammatory gut pathological condition. Although the etiology of IBD is unknown, gut microbiota alteration (dysbiosis) is considered a novel factor involved in the pathogenesis of IBD. The aim of this study is to analyze gut microbiota in IBD patients.
Inflammatory Bowel Disease Registry in Daegu-Gyeongbuk
Idiopathic Chronic Inflammatory Bowel DiseaseThe purpose of this study is to investigate the incidence and natural course of inflammatory bowel disease in the southeastern area of Korea.
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Research Registry
Inflamatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis)Patients seen at the Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease will be asked to provide their written informed consent (authorization) to allow their identifiable medical record information related to their Inflammatory Bowel Disease to be placed in Center's Research Registry for the purpose of facilitating retrospective research studies directed at Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and the identification and recruitment of potential, eligible subjects for participation in future research studies involving Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Information obtained from the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Registry will allow a better classification of disease and factors that influence the natural course of disease; which may lead to a better understanding of the pathogenesis of IBD and may permit the development of better therapies and the potential for preventive therapies.
Pathogenic Study of Adult Immune Enteropathies
Celiac DiseaseAutoimmune Enteropathy1 moreThe study focuses the mechanisms underlying the loss of intestinal homeostasis in celiac disease, refractory celiac disease and other immune diseases such as monogenic enteropathy, inflammatory bowel diseases or drug induced intestinal diseases. Mechanisms of transformation of lymphocytes leading to onset of lymphomatous complications of immune enteropathies will be investigated. Mechanisms of loss of hepatic lymphocytic homeostasis will also be assessed in liver associated diseases.
Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography Assessment of Retinal Lesions in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases...
Inflammatory Bowel DiseasesAim of the study; To record the vascular changes that may be present in the posterior segment of patients suffering from Inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD) using the optical coherence tomography angiography
The Role of Gut Leakage Markers and Microbiota Signature in Coronary Artery Disease.
Coronary Artery DiseaseIntestinal DiseaseDefine a signature of gut microbiota composition and related metabolites in patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction, non ST-elevation myocardial infarction and chronic coronary disease (CAD).
Chronic Intestinal Pathologies Analytical Cohort at TouLouse
Inflammatory Bowel DiseasesColon CancerIn the general population, the percentage of people with at least one digestive disease is 16.7%. Among these digestive diseases, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and patients who should benefit from digestive examinations as part of a screening oriented either by the patient's family history or following the performance of an immunological screening test ( FIT) in the stool will be studied. The aim of this project is to build a biological collection with associated clinical data for research projects.
IBD Registry in a Sub-Saharan African Population
Inflammatory Bowel DiseasesUlcerative Colitis1 moreThe investigators intend to establish a prospective registry of patients diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease at Parirenyatwa hospital in Harare, Zimbabwe. The study will periodically collect data on disease phenotype, disease course, and clinical management, and will biobank stool specimens and germline DNA. One relative, and an individual from the same neighbourhood will be also be recruited for a nested case-control study into risk factors of inflammatory bowel disease in this population.
Non-Immunoglobulin E-mediated Food Allergies in Children
Non IgE Mediated Food AllergyFood Protein-Induced Enteropathy3 moreNon-IgE-mediated gastrointestinal food allergies (non-IgE-GIFA) are an evolving web of clinical conditions characterized by subacute and/or chronic symptoms and include food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES), food protein-induced enteropathy (FPE), food protein-induced allergic proctocolitis (FPIAP), and food protein-induced allergic dysmotility disorders (gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), colic and constipation) (FPIMD). Despite the prevalence and clinical impact of these conditions, the pathogenesis as well as the natural history and the best management of these disorders are still poorly defined. These limitations could be responsible for diagnostic delays and errors, and suboptimal clinical management. We aim to evaluate clinical features, natural course and pathophysiology of non-IgE-GIFA in the pediatric age.
Sexual Dysfunction Among Inflammatory Bowel Disease Adults-Clinical Trial
Inflammatory Bowel DiseasesCrohn Disease1 morePatients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) have higher rates of sexual dysfunction than the general population. We offer an educational program on IBD including a specific discussion on intimacy and sexuality for IBD patients. Our objective is to investigate the benefit of this intervention on sexual function in patients with IBD.
