Coronary Artery DiseaseThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of paclitaxel-eluting balloon (SeQuent® Please) for treatment of lesions in native small coronary arteries.
Myocardial Hybrid Revascularization Versus Coronary artERy Bypass GraftING for Complex Triple-vessel...
Multivessel Coronary Artery DiseaseThis is a pilot randomized study that aim to assess the safety and feasibility of a hybrid myocardial revascularization strategy (coronary artery by-pass graft and percutaneous intervention) in comparison with conventional surgical coronary bypass grafting.
A Multicentre Trial on the Effectiveness of Physical Rehabilitation of Patients With Coronary Artery...
Coronary Artery Disease (CAD);Myocardial Infarction (MI)2 moreCardiac rehabilitation, including physical training, has become accepted treatment following myocardial infarction, coronary stent implantation and coronary bypass operation. Besides modifying patients' risk profile for future coronary problems, the focus is on improving exercise capacity. The ability to be able to perform at a higher maximal level is a strong predictor for outcome (new cardiovascular events and mortality). The main purpose of this study is to evaluate whether aerobic interval training outweighs more classical moderate endurance training in improving exercise capacity. During interval training, patients perform exercise at high intensity, but for only a couple of minutes and then recover at a lower intensity. Such intervals are repeated. Preliminary evidence from smaller studies suggests that this type of training leads to a larger increase in exercise capacity, compared to the more traditional endurance training at moderate intensity. In addition, mechanisms that might explain how this improvement is achieved, as well as safety and impact on quality of life will be studied.

Coronary Artery DiseaseCoronary Artery StenosisBIOSOLVE-II is a prospective, international, multicenter, First in Man study. The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and clinical performance of the drug eluting absorbable metal scaffold (DREAMS 2nd Generation).
Coconut Oil in Cardiovascular Disease
Chronic Coronary Artery DiseaseThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the supplementation with extra virgin of coconut oil combined with a nutritional counseling in reducing anthropometry and improves the lipid profile in patients with chronic coronary disease.
Comparison of One-stop Hybrid Revascularization Versus Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for the...
Coronary Artery DiseaseThe "one-stop" hybrid coronary revascularization combines minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass (MIDCAB) and PCI to be performed in the hybrid operating suite, an enhanced operating room equipped with radiographic capability. This study is to compare 1-year clinical outcomes of "one-stop" hybrid coronary revascularization with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in selected patients with multivessel coronary artery disease.
Everolimus-Eluting Stent for Bifurcation Coronary Lesions: Comparison of Simple Versus Complex Techniques...
Coronary Artery DiseaseThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the treatment of true bifurcation lesions with the XIENCE V stent using the simple strategy (stent in main vessel and provisional T-stenting in the side branch) compared to the complex strategy (stent in main vessel and T-stenting in the side branch).
Study of ADAMTS-13 Activity, Von Willebrand Factor and Platelet-Monocyte Aggregation in Coronary...
Coronary Artery DiseaseThe purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between proteins and enzymes in the blood and how they work with platelets to form blood clots in patients with coronary artery disease. The investigators hypothesize that the relationship between these factors could potentially be useful in identifying patients at higher risk for heart attacks.
