Precise Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Plan (P3) Study

Stable Coronary Artery Disease

The PRECISE PERCUTANEOUS CORONARY INTERVENTION (PCI) PLAN STUDY is an investigator-initiated, international and multicenter study of patients with an indication for PCI aiming at assessing the agreement and accuracy of the HeartFlow Planner with invasive fractional flow reserve (FFR) as a reference.

Investigating Temporal Improvements in Survival Following ST-elevation Myocardial Infarction.

Acute Myocardial Infarction

The aim of the study was to use data from the Myocardial Ischaemia National Audit Project (MINAP) to investigate whether temporal improvements in survival were associated with changes in patients' baseline clinical risk or use of guideline-indicated treatments for the management of STEMI, and to determine the extent to which associations explained the temporal improvements in survival.

Radiographic Imaging Validation and EvALuation for Angio iFR (ReVEAL iFR)

Cardiac IschemiaCoronary Artery Disease1 more

The Philips Angio-iFR medical software device is intended to provide information on the functional significance of a coronary artery lesion to provide guidance on diagnostic decisions similar to that obtained through invasive measures of iFR and FFR. The software application uses the vessel geometry obtained from a coronary angiographic image together with a lumped parameter physiological model to provide the associated iFR and FFR estimates.

Single-centre, Registry Trial, the Patients Presented With Stable Coronary Artery Disease

Coronary Artery Disease

This is a prospective study to analyze the outcome of provisional main vessel stenting on side branch by utilizing Two-Dimensional (2D) and Three-Dimensional (3D) frequency domain optical coherence tomography (FD-OCT). To analyze the fate of side-branch after provisional main vessel stenting based on morphology defined prior to PCI by OCT. Offline analysis of side branch impingement of the ostium of SB leading to acute loss in SB diameter area, carina shift and plaque shift will be also be performed.

The Long-term Results of the No-touch Vein Graft to the Left Anterior Descending Artery.

Ischemic Heart DiseaseAtherosclerosis

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the no-touch saphenous vein grafts that were used in coronary artery bypass surgery between 2003-2008 had a patency rate comparable to the left internal thoracic artery when the vein grafts were anatomised to the left anterior descending artery.

Pilot Evaluation of the JHI Platform

Coronary Artery Disease

The main purpose of this pilot study is to evaluate an impact of JHI CR Platform on patient referral, recruitment and retention rates and overall patient satisfaction in cardiovascular rehabilitation programs at the HFHS.

Depression Care for Hospitalized Coronary Heart Disease Patients: Prospective Cohort Study

Coronary Heart DiseaseDepression

The aims of this prospective, observational study are to assess the current use of depression care in Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) patients, and to provide estimates for the resources needed to implement guideline-oriented depression health care acceptable to CHD patients with comorbid depression.

China PEACE-Retrospective AMI Study

Coronary Heart Disease

Coronary heart disease (CHD) and heart attacks pose a serious health risk to men and women, however the knowledge about the real-life AMI management in China is limited. Within a nation-wide and regional representative probability sample of hospitals in China, 27,800 AMI inpatient cases will be sampled randomly from 2001 to 2011. The sampled medical records will be reviewed and abstracted in the national coordinating centre, in order to evaluate the treatment pattern, outcomes, and cost for AMI patients, during the past decade. Basic data and innovative evidence will accelerate evidence-based clinical practice and policy making, and improve AMI patients outcomes finally.

Assessment of Coronary Stenoses Using Coronary CT-angiography and Non-invasive Fractional Flow Reserve...

Myocardial Ischemia

The purpose of this study is to determine whether a novel non-invasive method to estimate coronary blood flow (FFRct) is applicable to evaluate the functional significance of coronary stenoses in non-culprit vessels in a population of patients with recent STEMI (ST-elevation myocardial infarction) and multivessel disease. The diagnostic performance and reproducibility of FFRct as well as the qualitative and quantitative correlation between FFRct and the regional coronary blood flow will be examined.
