Wearable Devices for Secondary Prevention of Ischemic Stroke

StrokeIschemic1 more

Ischemic stroke is an important cause of death and disability in Western countries. Different risk factors have been identified such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, smoke, atrial fibrillation, obesity, and sedentary. The aim of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of an approach based on the use of wearable devices for the identification and reduction of risk factors in patients with previous history of ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack.

NBP in Patients With Moyamoya Disease of High Risk for Ischemic Cerebrovascular Events

Moyamoya DiseaseIschemic Cerebral Infarction3 more

An extracranial-to-intracranial (EC-IC) revascularization is the most widely used treatment to improve cerebral perfusion in patients with moyamoya disease (MMD), and it has been shown to reduce the risk of subsequent stroke and neurological deficit. However, perioperative changes in cerebral hemodynamics can induce fluctuations in cerebral perfusion that may lead to transient or irreversible neurological deficits. Our preliminary single-center study suggests that postoperative intravenous administration of dl-3-n-butylphthalide (NBP) may alleviate perioperative neurological deficits and improve the neurological outcomes after EC-IC revascularization for MMD. This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, single-controlled, add-on to standard of care study of NBP in patients with MMD of high risk for ischemic cerebrovascular events after EC-IC revascularization surgery.

Intra-arterial Prostaglandin Therapy in Non-occlusive Mesenteric Ischemia

Non-Occlusive Mesenteric Ischaemia (NOMI)

Minimal invasive intra-arterial prostaglandin therapy is currently being offered as an established and safe treatment approach for Non-occlusive mesenteric ischemia (NOMI). So far, there are no data that prospective evaluate clinical response parameters of this method and corresponding criteria for response. The investigators are therefore planning a prospective observational study on NOMI patients with the aim to collect routine clinical data, data from advanced angigraphic imaging and data from blood biomarkers of intestinal ischemia before/at implementation of intra-arterial vasodilatory therapy. From these three data packages, the investigators hope to subsequentially derive criteria to better predict response to therapy.

National Tunisian Registry of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

ACS - Acute Coronary SyndromeAngor Pectoris2 more

The National Tunisian Registry of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention is an observational, prospective and multicenter study aiming to assess coronary intervention strategies in tunisian departments of cardiology. Cardiologists from both sectors (public and private) are participating in the study, with 37 investigational centers. Data will be captured electronically by DACIMA Clinical Suite, according to FDA 21 CFR part 11 (Food and Drug Administration 21 Code of Federal Regulations part 11), HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) & ICH (International Conference on Harmonisation) requirements.

Preoperative Continuous Sciatic Perineural Analgesia in Patients Undergoing Lower Limb Revascularization...

Ischemic LegPeripheral Vascular Disease

This study evaluates the pain score numerical rating, after sciatic analgesic continuous block, in patients with ischemic pain before surgery of limb revascularization. All patients received those blocks to control ischemic severe pain.

FFR and Inducible Myocardial Ischemia During Adenosine Stress Testing

Coronary Artery Stenosis

This is a prospective, single center study involving 150 patients with stable coronary artery disease undergoing coronary angiography for chest pain evaluation. The relationship between FFR values and inducible myocardial ischemia at the time of definite ischemia during adenosine stress testing will be investigated.

Radiological Findings in Primary Intestinal Ischaemia

Acute Intestinal Ischemia

To investigate which findings on a non-specific CT scan that predict acute primary intestinal ischaemia.

Assessment of Lesion-Associated Myocardial Ischemia Based on Fusion Coronary CT Imaging

Myocardial IschemiaMyocardial Viability2 more

The aim of the Fused-Heart study is to investigate the impact of a coronary artery stenosis on myocardial function and viability, based on advanced fusion imaging techniques derived from CCTA. Moreover the study will investigate the correlation between morphology and composition of atheromatous plaques located in a coronary artery and myocardial ischemia in the territory irrigated by the same coronary artery.
