Bioflow-DAPT Study
Coronary Artery DiseaseBIOFLOW-DAPT is a prospective, multi-center, international, two-arm randomized controlled clinical study. A total of 1'948 subjects will be randomized 1:1 to receive either Orsiro Mission or Resolute Onyx. After index procedure, all patients will receive DAPT (ASA + P2Y12 inhibitor) for 30 days, followed by monotherapy with either P2Y12 inhibitor or ASA only until the end of the study. Clinical follow-up visits will be scheduled at 1, 6 and 12 months post-procedure.
Optimal Predilatation Treatment Before Implantation of a Magmaris Bioresorbable Scaffold in Coronary...
Coronary Artery DiseaseStable Angina8 moreThe aim of the study is to investigate if lesion preparation with a ScoreFlex balloon compared to a standard non-compliant balloon improve vascular healing and minimize lumen reduction after implantation of a Magmaris bioresorbable scaffold.
Assessment of Adverse Outcome in Asymptomatic Patients With Prior Coronary Revascularization Who...
Coronary Artery DiseasePercutaneous Coronary Intervention1 moreDue to the lack of randomized controlled trials, the best follow-up strategy of asymptomatic patients after coronary artery revascularization is controversial. A systematic screening of silent myocardial ischemia may help prevent a major acute cardiac event. However, systematic screening strategy is costly and there is currently no evidence that repeated revascularization improve survival. Moreover, stress testing per se or additional procedures which can be performed with regard of stress testing results can cause unexpected complications. ARCACHON is a national, multicenter, randomized, open label trial, that will evaluate the non-inferiority of a clinical follow-up as compared to a systematic stress testing strategy after coronary revascularization.
Physiology as Guidance to Evaluate the Direct Impact of Coronary Lesion Treatment: The PREDICT Study...
Coronary Artery DiseaseStable Angina3 moreThe purpose of this study is to assess whether the use of physiology parameters as guidance post-percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) is associated with less risks of target vessel failure (TVF) and angina-related events than standard angiographic guidance.
Usefulness of the Use of Co-registration Strategy With iFR in Long and/or Diffuse Coronary Lesions...
Instantaneous Wave Free RatioDiffuse Coronary Artery Disease2 moreRandomized controlled trial to determinate if the physiological iFR pullback evaluation with Syncvision software (intervention group) could be useful in the reduction of stent length implanted, with the potencial benefit in terms of MACEs reduction at follow-up with respect to angiographic guiding of percutaneous coronary intervention (control group).
DYNAMX Bioadaptor ImplanTation for the trEatment of Complex Coronary Lesions
Coronary Artery DiseaseChronic Total Occlusion of Coronary Artery3 moreThe aim of the DYNAMITE study is to investigate the (a) acute procedural and (b) 9-month follow-up performance of DynamX Drug-Eluting Coronary Bioadaptor System implantation in complex coronary lesions.
Evaluation of Treatment Strategies for Severe CaLcIfic Coronary Arteries: Orbital Atherectomy vs....
Coronary Artery DiseaseIschemic Heart Disease1 moreThis trial will evaluate Orbital Atherectomy compared to conventional balloon angioplasty technique for the treatment of severely calcified lesions prior to implantation of drug-eluting stents (DES).
Quantitative Cardiac Parametric Mapping
CardiomyopathyMyocarditis1 moreThe overall goal of this project is to evaluate the clinical potential of fast quantitative myocardial tissue characterization using recently emerged Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CMR) techniques to aid the diagnosis, treatment, and follow up of patients with myocardial diseases, such as ischemic heart disease, cardiomyopathies, and myocarditis.
Improving Wellbeing in Ischemic Heart Disease
Ischemic Heart DiseaseThe purpose of this research is to see if Heart Health Yoga (HHY) Program when added on to standard cardiac rehabilitation (CR) will improve overall wellbeing and quality of life for patients experiencing ischemic heart disease, heart problems caused by narrowed heart arteries.
Improving How Older Adults at Risk for Cardiovascular Outcomes Are Selected for Care Coordination...
Cardiovascular DiseasesMyocardial Infarction8 moreThis pragmatic clinical trial embedded in an accountable care organization will determine the comparative effectiveness of two approaches for assigning care coordinators to older adults at risk for cardiovascular outcomes. The hypothesis is that assigning care coordinators to older adults based on perceived need will be more effective at preventing emergency department visits and hospitalizations compared to usual care.
