Scapular Positioning in Standing Position Using Sonography
Shoulder OsteoarthritisArthropathy ShoulderThe objective of this study is to analyse the positioning of the scapula in standing position and compared to the supine position (CT scan) in 3 dimensions (3 rotations of the scapula) using a non-radiant, portable system, combining an ultrasound probe with marker and a camera integrated into a Tablet for the three-dimensional location of the marker (probe).

Arthropathy of HipThe objective is to evaluate the implant survival rate for patients implanted with a PINNACLE® ULTAMET™ Metal-on-Metal implant for conventional total hip arthroplasty for the treatment of a severe hip disease and true femoral cervical fracture.
Validation of Ultrasound as a Diagnostic Tool for Assessment of Hemophilic Arthropathy of Knees...
HemophiliaHemophilic ArthropathyThe purpose of this study is to test the external validity of the systemic ultrasound protocol for data acquisition and interpretation, in order to diagnose soft tissue and osteochondral abnormalities in hemophilic children.
Evaluation of C-reactive Protein Level in the Group of Patient With Pain Form of Temporomandibular...
Temporomandibular Joint DisordersTemporomandibular joints dysfunction is a functional disorder concern with the abnormal functioning of the muscles of the stomatognathic system, temporomandibular joints involved in the dynamic movements of the jaw and surrounding structures. The aim of the study was to compare the level of C-reactive protein in patients with pain and painless form of temporomandibular joints dysfunction.
Feasibility Testing of a New Way to Support the Jaw During 3rd Molar Extractions
Impacted Third Molar ToothTemporomandibular Joint Dysfunction SyndromeCross sectional observational study to assess the feasibility of using the functional prototype of the restful jaw support device to support the jaw when extracting mandibular 3rd molars using moderate/deep sedation. An additional meeting(s) will occur, after the oral and maxillofacial surgeons (OMS) have completed all treatment procedures utilizing the device and surveys are completed, to provide feedback on how the device performed.
Revision Total Hip Replacement Arthroplasty and Hematologic Variables
Avascular Necrosis of HipDegenerative Hip Joint DiseaseRevision total hip replacement arthroplasty is a surgery having intra- and postoperative substantial blood loss. The investigators will investigate the relationship between the various hematologic variables and postoperative bleeding volume.
Evaluation of Static Postural Balance in Children With Hemophilia and Its Relationship With Joint...
HemophiliaArthropathy of Knee1 moreHemophilia is a rare hematological disorder characterized by a partial or complete deficiency of clotting factor VIII or IX.Bleeding disorders mainly affect the musculoskeletal system. Intra-articular bleeding is an important complication related to hemophilia and usually occurs in large synovial joints such as knees and ankles. Initially, these bleeds occur non-specific spontaneously and usually affect one joint, and repeated bleeding makes that joint a target joint. Postural balance can be defined as the ability to maintain a stable posture for maximum duration with minimal body sway, or to hold the body centre of gravity (CoG) over its base support in varying conditions (1). Somatosensorial information from mechanoreceptors, visual and vestibular receptors is required to maintain postural balance. Postural balance is tried to be controlled by the postural adjustments provided by the contraction of the lower limb muscles and trunk muscles before perturbation. Spontaneous hemarthrosis is a distinctive feature of severe haemophilia, and that recurrent bleedings may likely to cause postural balance disorders by disrupting proprioceptive inputs from mechanoreceptors in the joint. Data on how bleeding affects postural balance in children with hemophilia is unclear. In the relationship between the clinical evaluation of hemophilia and postural balance, there is little research in the literature.
Prevalance of Temporomandibular Joint Disease
Temporomandibular Joint DisordersTemporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders are common problems in the society and involve the masticator muscles, jaw joint and related structures. Since TMJ disorders affect functions such as eating and speaking, they can cause important problems in the daily life of the patient. Therefore, its diagnosis and treatment are of great importance. In the treatment of these patients, methods such as analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs, splint, exercise, physical therapy modalities can be applied.
Correlation Between Cervical Spine Muscle Disorders and the Occurrence of Symptoms of Temporomandibular...
Temporomandibular Joint DisordersThis study evaluated the correlation between the occurrence of disorders of selected muscles of the cervical spine and the occurrence of symptoms of TMJ dysfunction
Prevalence of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction in Patients With Ankylosing Spondylitis
Ankylosing SpondylitisThis study included 113 patients diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis and 110 healthy volunteers. Participants in both groups were evaluated using the 'Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders (DC/TMD)' diagnostic criteria. In addition, the relationship between temporomandibular joint dysfunction and disease activity was investigated in patients with ankylosing spondylitis.
