A Clinical Study of Keratoconus in Asian Patients and Assessment of Different Topographic Patterns...
KeratoconusA clinical study of keratoconus in Asian Patients and assessment of different topographic patterns of keratoconus in Asian patients
Iontophoretic Transepithelial Collagen Cross-linking Versus Epithelium-off Collagen Cross-linking...
KeratoconusTo compare 3 year iontophoretic transepithelial corneal cross-linking (I-ON CXL) outcomes with epithelium-off collagen cross-linking (epi-off CXL)in pediatric patients.
Stromal Demarcation Line: is it Predictive for Cross-Linking Efficiency?
Progressive KeratoconusTo assess the association between stromal demarcation line after collagen crosslinking (CXL) for progressive keratoconus and mid-term (6 month) refractive, topographic and clinical outcomes of CXL
Agreement and Accuracy of Different Devices Corneal Measurements
KeratoconusTo compare repeatability, reproducibility and agreement of both, AS- OCT and Scheimpflug imaging, for the measurement of corneal curvature and corneal thickness in patients with keratoconus.
Evaluation of Morphology Abnormal Cornea Stability With Corneal Biomechanical
KeratoconusStableTo evaluate the corneal biomechanical properties of stable eyes with abnormal morphology, and introduce a biomechanical stable index to evaluate the stability of the eyes with abnormal morphology at the first diagnosis.
The Characteristics of Backscattering With Depth in the Progression of Keratoconus
ElasticumIncomplete PseudoxanthomaTo investigate the variation in backscattering with depth between forme fruste keratoconus (FFKC), keratoconus, and normal eyes; to determine the backscattering changes in the characteristics of keratoconus progression; and to explore the diagnostic value of backscattering in FFKC.
Reliability of Topography Measurements in Keratoconus
KeratoconusThe purpose of this study is to assess the reliability and repeatability of the parameters obtained using the Galilei dual-scheimpflug corneal topographer for monitoring progression in eyes with keratoconus.
Corneal Changes After Crosslinking in Keratoconus Patients Compared to the Untreated Fellow Eye...
KeratoconusThe purpose of this retrospective study is to assess corneal changes (keratometry, pachymetry) and change in visual acuity (VA) in keratoconus patients after unilateral crosslinking treatment compared to the untreated fellow eye. The corneal measurements obtained preoperatively and 2 to 14 months postoperatively using a Pentacam rotating scheimpflug camera are analyzed. Furthermore, pre-existing or actual ocular pathology or/and ocular surgeries as potential factors involved in treatment outcome are also evaluated.
Corneal Epithelial and Stromal Thickness Distribution in Keratoconus
KeratoconusAstigmatismThe purpose of the study was to identify corneal epithelial- and stromal-thickness distribution patterns in keratoconic eyes using spectral-domain-optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT). Study Hypothesis: SD-OCT provides necessary details about the distribution of corneal epithelial and stromal thicknesses for identification of a pattern characteristic for early keratoconus.
Correlation Between Eye Rubbing and Keratoconus Severity in a Treatment-naive Keratoconic Population...
Keratoconusdetermination if, within a keratoconic population, strong eye rubbing was correlated with visual acuity, spherical equivalent value, biomicroscopic signs, corneal pachymetry, keratometry, and tomography classification determinating keratoconus stage.
