Interventional, monocentric, national, single-arm, uncontrolled, open, prospective phase IV study. Since this study is not powered for confirmative testing, analysis is done by descriptive statistics Eligible AK patients receive Tirbanibulin on sun-damaged areas of the face for five days, according to the SmPC. Diagnosis and monitoring of treatment effects are supported by UV imaging using Canfield VISIA®. Safety and efficacy are assessed at end of treatment visit (EoT, approximately 3 days after the last dose, i.e, day 8 ± 2) and at a follow-up visit (FuV) 57 ± 7 d after the start of the treatment. UV images (Canfield VISIA®) will be taken at baseline, EoT and FuV, accompanied by conventional dermatological assessment according to clinical routine.

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the incidence of biopsy confirmed invasive squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) in the selected treatment field (TF) after administration of topical tirbanibulin 10 milligram (mg)/gram (g) ointment or diclofenac sodium 3 percent (%) gel over the 3-year study period.

This is a randomized, controlled, multi-center trial in subjects diagnosed with Actinic Keratosis (AK) where each subject serves as their own control. The trial will be conducted at 2 sites, one in Germany and one in the United States. Approximately 60 subjects will be randomized to ensure 51 subjects complete the study.

Premalignant AKs are highly frequent in the light-skinned populations with an increasing incidence. PDT is considered a well-establish treatment for these lesions, and therefore it is essential to achieve an optimal and effective treatment as possible. The present study proposes a new post-treatment modality with application of an anti-inflammatory moisturizer Cicaplast Baume B5+ to the treated areas that may improve the overall patient satisfaction and minimize the local skin reactions. Treatment regime consists of two daily applications of Cicaplast Baume B5+ for 14 days, and this regime is not associated with increased risk of systemic AEs or serious events.

The primary aim of this study is to investigate the effect of 5-fluorouracil, imiquimod, and melatonin for actinic keratosis on immunological gene, and protein expressions profiles. Secondarily, the aim is to assess the effect of the treatment on the histopathology of actinic keratoses.

The purpose of the study is to assess treatment satisfaction on Day 57 in participants with Actinic Keratoses (AK) of the face or scalp following treatment with tirbanibulin ointment 1 percent (%) administered once daily for 5 consecutive days.

Evaluation of the Efficacy and Safety of a thermal fractional skin treatment system (Tixel) for the treatment of facial and/or scalp actinic keratoses

The aim of the study will be to evaluate the efficacy of a tissue autofluorescence detection system as an aid to clinical screening in identifying lesions of the oral mucosa. The screening process will be performed by 3 clinicians with a different level of experience. Sensitivity and specificity tests will be conducted.

This study is following up on previous studies that have demonstrated that geriatric subjects respond different to ultraviolet B (UVB) light than young subjects. The treatment of geriatric skin with dermal rejuvenation therapies (dermabrasion, fractionated laser resurfacing) restores the appropriate UVB response. Ongoing studies have tested the ability of fractionated laser resurfacing (FLR) to assess how long this wounding effect lasts-and have found that this appears to be a durable response which lasts for at least two years. The findings that FLR protects geriatric skin at two years is the impetus for this study. This study is an interventional study to assess if FLR treatment of one forearm of geriatric subjects with multiple actinic keratosis will result in the short-term removal of actinic keratosis, and the long-term decrease in levels of future actinic keratosis and other non-melanoma skin cancers in comparison to the untreated arm. Study length and visit: The first part of the study is completed in 1 day then there are follow up visits at 90 days and every 6 months for 5 years.
