MK-2060 and Clopidogrel Co-administration Safety and Tolerability Study in Participants With End-Stage...
End-Stage Renal DiseaseKidney Failure1 moreMK-2060 is being developed for prevention of thrombotic complications in end-stage renal disease (ESRD). The purpose of this study is to conduct a preliminary evaluation of the safety and tolerability of MK-2060 treatment in combination with a commonly used P2Y12 receptor inhibitor, clopidogrel, in ESRD patients.
A Study to Test How BI 1015550 is Taken up in the Blood of People With and Without Kidney Problems...
Renal InsufficiencyHealthyThis study is open to adults aged 18 years and older. People without kidney problems and people who have moderate or severe kidney problems can join the study. The purpose of this study is to find out how a medicine called BI 1015550 is taken up in the blood of people with and without kidney problems. Kidney problems may change how a medicine is taken up in the blood. All participants take a single tablet of BI 1015550. Participants are in the study for about 2 weeks. During this time, they visit the study site 6 times. On the second visit, participants stay overnight at the study site for 4 nights. At the visits, doctors take blood samples to measure the levels of BI 1015550 in participants' blood. Then they compare the results between the groups of participants with and without kidney problems. The doctors also check participants' health and take note of any unwanted effects.
Study to Evaluate the Effect of Renal Impairment and Dialysis Treatment on the Pharmacokinetics...
Renal ImpairmentThe primary objectives of this study are: To obtain information on the pharmacokinetics of cytisinicline following a single oral dose in subjects with varying degrees of renal impairment relative to matched controls with normal renal function. To investigate the extent of cytisinicline removal by hemodialysis.
A Study to Assess Zibotentan Pharmacokinetics in Participants With Moderate Hepatic and Moderate...
Hepatic ImpairmentRenal ImpairmentThis study will evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK), safety, and tolerability of a single oral dose of zibotentan in patients with moderate hepatic and moderate renal impairment in comparison to a matched healthy control group.
Study to Evaluate the Pharmacokinetics, Safety, and Pharmacodynamics of INCB000928 in Participants...
Renal ImpairmentHemodialysisThis is a multicenter, open-label parallel-group to evaluate single oral doses of INCB000928 in participants with varying level of renal function or impairment.
Pharmacokinetics Study in Patients With Impaired Renal Function and Subjects With Normal Renal Function...
Patients With Impaired Renal FunctionThe objective of this study is to compare the pharmacokinetics of ASP015K in patients with impaired renal function and subjects with normal renal function.
Study to Evaluate Sotagliflozin in Subjects With Varying Degrees of Renal Function
Renal ImpairmentHealthyThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of mild, moderate, or severe renal impairment, or end-stage renal disease (ESRD) requiring hemodialysis (HD), on the safety and tolerability of 1 or 2 single doses of sotagliflozin compared with healthy, demographically-matched subjects with normal renal function.
Effects of Levosimendan in Acute Kidney Injury After Cardiac Surgery
Acute Kidney InjuryRenal Insufficiency1 moreAcute kidney injury (AKI) is a common complication after cardiac surgery. Mismatch in renal oxygen demand-supply may be an important pathogenetic factor. Levosimendan has been shown to improve renal blood flow, glomerular filtration rate and renal oxygenation in healthy controls after cardiac surgery. In order to investigate the effect of levosimendan in patients with AKI after cardiac surgery, the investigators plan a randomized placebo controlled trial. 30 patients will receive levosimendan or placebo. Renal blood flow and filtration fraction will be measured using infusion clearance technique of para-aminohippuric acid and Chromium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (Cr-EDTA) respectively.
Study to Evaluate Pharmacokinetics of ITCA 650 in Subjects With Renal Impairment Compared to Normal...
Renal InsufficiencyA Phase 1 study to evaluate the pharmacokinetics of ITCA 650 in subjects with mild and moderate renal impairment compared to the pharmacokinetics of subjects with normal renal function
Study of Pharmacokinetics of a Single IV Dose of CB-238,618 in Subjects With Varying Degrees of...
Healthy VolunteersRenal ImpairmentThe purpose of this study is to characterize the effect of renal function on the plasma, urine, and dialysate pharmacokinetic profile of MK-6183 (CB-238,618) in humans. The study will also assess the safety profile and tolerability of MK-6183 in healthy participants, participants with varying degrees of renal impairment (RI), or participants with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) requiring hemodialysis (HD), based on estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR).
